Iagree with the topic. I think people will focus on a issue only if it affecttheir life at first. And the contemporary society is different from the pastsociety inways like culture, economy and politics.

Firstly, Instock market, people will pay attention for a long period of time in catchingthe trend of a certain stock so as the financial surnami. Sincestock is related to their investment, people will attention focusing on acertain stock, for example, to get rid of the trend of which. on the otherhand, people will also focus on a certain phenomenon of the stock market, likethe financial surnami in 2008 to forecast the future stock performance.

Secondly, thefashion trend is changing, people will not pay much attention on such achanging trend either it is affecting their life or not. so as subcultures. incomparison, the cultural aspect is not as important as the stock market topeople since it's not as fatal as financial investment to their living.
For example, ifone fashion is got and another is come, people will pay their attention onanother one since it's is a "trend". So as subcultures, such as thedressing of a certain teenage group, people will pay their attention of themfor a while only for their own kindness to help to change their kids to aformal way as they think they should be.

Lastly, thebombard of the data in the contemporary world distract people from focusingon a single issue.
Current day, the world is totally full of data, we areliving in data, which includes news, professional studies and even theconflicts between cultures. These will distract people to seek the issues,especially on only one issue form the flows of data in the nowadays.

Insum, I agree with the title mentioned that nowadays people will not focus on aissue clearly and extensively due to they don't have enough energy and theirtrend of egotism in the contemporary world, such as the over flow of data inthe nowadays and people will only care to issues concerned to their own life inthe nowadays. Themeans of focusing on an issue clearly and extensively require a long time focuson an issue, for example, with people try to define an issue, people will firstclarify it before make an explanation to find the cause of it, and after peopleat the process or after their find out the cause, extention of the issue willbe make. For example, the cause of insomnia is anexity, and to thinkextensively of this issue is the cause of the anxiety. More during the findingprocess of the cause of anxiety, people may find the environmental is anothercause of the issue. And by finding environmental aspect, a newly way ofimproving the sleep quality by arranging the envinment will be invented.
