English Teacher EF Kids & Teens Own School

Synopsis: As an English Teacher at EF English First Kids & Teens, you will join our academic team together with international teachers to deliver high quality English lessons and academic services to our students from 3-18 years old.
The role:
The Teacher position is an essential and key position in EF schools. The responsibilities mainly include preparing and delivering lessons, administering and reporting students’ learning progress and coordinating with other functions to maintain effective relations.
You will:
_Prepare and carry out lessons as assigned by the Director of Studies
_Correct, record and administer the results of quizzes, tests, assessments and progress report for students
_Communicate students’ progress and action plans with parents via phone and parent-teacher meetings
_Assist in the placement testing and interviewing for new students enrollment
_Carry out academic events including demo lessons, parent academy and life clubs
_Attend teacher training presentations and workshops for own development
_Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice, on or off-site
You have/are:
_Bachelor Degree, plus a National Teacher Certificate or TEFL/CELTA certificate
_Major in English, English Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or relevant area
_Command excellent communicative skills in English with TEM8/IELTS7 or above

Director of Studies

Synopsis: As a Director of Studies at EF English First Kids & Teens, you will lead and manage a teaching team to ensure high academic quality and production efficiency and support the Center Director to drive for customer satisfaction and student retention in one center catered for English learners from 3-18 years old.
The role:
The Director of Studies plays a key role in EF schools. You are an academic leader among the teachers; you are an operational manager of the daily production; you are a supporter of the Center Director and sales and service supervisors; you are also a coordinator of regional and national educational events.
Responsibilities:
_Deliver regular lessons and demonstration classes to the highest standards
_Ensure effective scheduling of classes, extra-curricular activities and events
_Arrange school induction for new teachers; lead regular teacher training workshops
_Assess academic staff’s performance and provide constructive feedback together with developmental plans
_Work closely with the Center Director and other supervisors to ensure inter-departmental co-operation and effective communication
_Update and consult Regional Production Manager to guarantee smooth product implementation and overall academic operations
_Assist Product Development in testing and implementing new EF products and courses
Requirements:
_Master degree in TESOL, English Education, Educational Management & Leadership or relevant majors
_Minimum 5 years ELT experience preferably in the CLT based classroom to kids & teens
_2-3 years experienced in teacher training and supervision, school academic operation and management under an international environment
_Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
_Self-motivated; detail oriented; flexible; able to work under pressure
_Availability for working evenings and weekends
