前些日子一直忙考试,今天才完整地写第一篇。大家别笑话,帮忙看看
连着看题目、看了些大家的提纲总共用了快三个半小时了,偶尔还用词霸
It is true that formal education surely has the responsibility to transmit ideas, and especially as a tool of culture it seems primarily to be the main means to perpetuate or discredit certain ideas. But as a matter of fact, whether education plays the most significant role or not depends on the epoch
Which it is in and the people it faces.

As we know, people's mind developed as time goes by. In ancient era when most people were wild and foolish, formal education became a certain way for gerentocratic to bondage ordinary people, and therefore was the most effective measure to perpetuate the ideas which the culture favors and discredit the ideas that it fears. Take China for an illustration, during more than 2000 years of feudality, Confucianism always stood a steady position, which was used to be diffuse ideas as a tool of culture. Then, some ideas which culture favors must be apotheosized and handed down generations by generations while others which culture feared would be discredited by all means.

However, formal education can not always be in the leading place in helping culture perpetuate or discredit ideas. Formal education is more and more orient to be open not only to all kinds of ideas but also to an avalanche of culture. Hardly can a certain kind of national culture determine what ideas to perpetuate or discredit through formal education. Apart from, even if formal education serves for a sort of culture people will not take it thoroughly, for they must achieve the capability of analysis and judgement from the persist developed education. At the same time, other ways such as medias、laws and even the social consensus may substitute the position of formal education. Any measure makes contribute to culture for perpetuating the ideas it favors and discrediting the ideas it fears. For example, social problems have much relationship with culture. Education is made to teach people the ideas to be kind hoping to reduce the serious problems. Whereas crisis 、stealing and violence which is surely feared by the culture no matter in which country still often appears. It must be medias or other means‘strength.

In one word, formal education has its effect in perpetuating the ideas that culture favors or discrediting the ideas that it fears, which can not be substitute by other ways. But it is not always play a primary role. We can not ignore the factor of era.

[这段把很多内容集中在一起写,导致写得都比较笼统。可以把关于其他方式的内容另起一段来写。]
