130"How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."

1、孩子们的社会化在现在的社会是必要的。孩子是我们社会的未来，我们要教育孩子们更好的去适应社会，帮助社会，教会他们什么是应该做的什么是不应该做的，让他们成为有利于社会的人。
2、但是仅仅让孩子们社会化，不是能够让我们的社会有一个美好未来的唯一的条件。我们也不能忽视培养孩子的创新精神，批判思维，独立精神。
3、我们现在已经很好在很好的培养我们的孩子，让他们能更好的去适应社会，并为社会贡献出自己的力量。

The author states that the destiny of society is determined by the socialization of children; while, we have not learned how to teach them to help bring about a better society. I concede that whether children are well socialized is an important factor that affects society. However, there are still other factors we should take into consideration. In addition, today we have done a lot to help the children become responsible and contribute to improve the society.

It is true that the children stand for the future of a society and they must be educated to adapt it and contribute to it which help society become more and more stability, thriving and prosperous. To keep a society stability, people should learn to well communicate and
tolerant each other. To make a society thriving and prosperous, people should learn to how to well cooperate with each other to accomplish an easy or difficult task. If the children are not socialized well, they may become individualism, selfish, homebred, which may make the society full of quarrelling, turbulence, crime and even be ruined. Without cooperation and contribution, the society just as a flower short of nourishing and watering will soon go to the end, let alone to develop itself. So we should teach children what is acceptable and unacceptable in society and their responsibility for the future of society.

However, in spite of the socialization, some other education should be taken into consideration to make a child useful and to boost the development of the society, such as creativity, critical thinking and independence. Admittedly, tolerance and cooperation can make society stability; however, if all of people just change themselves to adapt to the environment and lose their personality, there will not exist creativity and innovation that the society will gradually fall behind. If Martin Luther King, the winner of Nobel Prize for Peace, gives up his dream of creating a fair and society where white people and black people would fraternally live together in his society which is full of racial discrimination, African American would still live a discriminated life today. If Bill Gates were socialized to obey inherent rules of society to accomplish his B.D. and go to find a good job in a famous company, there will not be a Windows empire which brings great wealth to America.

Fortunately, today we take great attention to the education of children, teaching them morality, knowledge and cultivate their logical thinking ability and realization to cooperate with others and to take responsibility for society. By the courses, such as mathematics, chemistry, physics, the students can learn how to logically and critically think, how to handle the difficult problems by themselves. By the courses, such as history, the students will love his country and be more eager to contribute to society. Also, we develop plenty of extracurriculum activities, such as student club, kinds of sports team, for children to cultivate their leadership, sportsmanship and ability to organize. With the foregoing qualities, it is believable that they can construct a more advanced and prosperous society in the future.

Accordingly, the children should be well educated to be not only socialized but also creative, independent. Moreover, we have taken a lot of good measures to give them a good and proper education to develop them to well perform in the future.

I concede that whether children are well socialized is an important factor that affects society. However, there are still other factors we should take into consideration. In addition, today we have done a lot to help the children become responsible and contribute to improve the society.

嗯，谢谢yylll的修改。在我分析这篇文章的时候，认为社会化指得是一个人能够适应社会，顺应社会的能力和为社会做出贡献的特质。所以，在选择对立面的时候，就用到了creativity和innovation等词，当然，也是参考了网上的一些提纲。在第二段举例子的时候，我也不是和满意自己的例子，可是又想不出更好的来。。。郁闷啊，可不可以给点建议哦？
