It is the artist, not the critic,* who gives society something of lasting value
*a person who evaluates works of art, such as novels, films, music, paintings, etc.
是艺术家而不是批评家，带给社会一些具有持久价值的东西。
*批评家指经常评价艺术作品，例如小说、电影、音乐、绘画等的人。

Someone said that it is the artist, not the critic, who gives society something of lasting value. However, I do not support this claim. The artist is important as well as the critic. They both play a irreplaceable part in the process of creating and evaluating the essence of the art, which is considering the something within the lasting value.

First of all, what is the lasting value? From my point of view, the lasting value of art is the pursuit of the beauty, the display of the beauty and the discovery of the beauty. Undoubtedly, the display of the beauty is important, as it creates a lot of excellent artworks. Meanwhile, the discovery of the beauty is also significant, without that, we can not taste the essence of the immortal artworks. The great France sculptor Rodin said that" The world is full of the beauty unless we have a pair eyes to find it out." Truly it is. And that is reason why Van Gogh's outstanding works had few recognitions when he was living. Hardly any admired his excellent works until some critics discover the lasting value within his paintings. Therefore, both the aesthetic values, which created by artists and the perspectives of discoverer, that showed by critics are in the same positions in the lasting values.

Admittedly, the artists create the aesthetic value within the artworks themselves. From The Renaissance up to now, there are numerous excellent even immortal masterpieces showing to us, which are all showing the indescribable and forever beauty. Eternal and mysterious smile of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, exquisite and scared The Creation from Michelangelo, vivid and realistic Night Watch by Rembrandt, dramatic and colorful Liberty Leading the People by Delacroix,  changing light and color of Impression, Sunrise from Monet,  lifelike and museful The Thinker sculpted by Rodin, raging and abstract Guernica by Picassco. And all those immortal masterpieces let us feel easy and comfortable, make us enjoy the essence of arts, which are all owing to the beauty and the aesthetic value within them.

At the same time, the critics provide the public with a special perspective to taste the beauty. Without the particular perspectives from critics, definitely, we may miss a lot of greatest artists and their immortal works. There is no better illustration than Vinect Van Gogh. This gifted impressionistic artist sold only one painting before he suicided at merely 37 years old. Few people recognized his paintings, and he did not received the respect on his living. However, when the critics noticed his artworks and the public took attention on those excellent paintings, the lasting value inside all his works were showed to us. And one of his paintings--Portrait of Doctor Gachet has auctioned for the highest price--82.5 million U.S. dollars up to now. From this, we can see how important role the critics are playing to the artists and their artworks.

Therefore, to a certain degree, artists are significant as well as critics. The former create the beauty, and the latter discover the beauty, which are two important and irreplaceable factors within the lasting value of the art, besides the two are twisting each other and becoming a whole organism that cannot be broken up. As Rodin said" The world is full of the beauty unless we have a pair eyes to find it out  ", Undeniably, the world need outstanding artists who can create immortal masterpieces for our human beings. Moreover, we especially call for the critics who can find out the talents and discover the beauty inside their works. Otherwise, the world will lose no less than one hundred Van Gogh.

In brief, both artist and critic are important to the beauty. The artist create the aesthetic value within the artworks, meanwhile, the critic discover and show it to the public in  a special perspective way. Thus, the artist and the critic both give the lasting value of art to society.

今天不叫个郁闷，要写两篇艺术类的，其中还有issue176，郁闷呀：（

我，牛？google牛吧，都是查它的，我怎么能记住那么多的牛人，和那些我只知道中文名字的作品。唉，多写吧。笨人就用笨办法吧。

俺可不是6天可以搞个5.5 的料

谢谢大家了，我尽量给大家看看，但说实话，我的计划是每天 issue2，argu2，现在，就issue 保证了，argu 还没怎么写呢。偶的argu 很次的，唉，菜啊！！！

文字上不少地方还可以推敲的更好
整篇文章略有些车轱辘话来回说
不过一开始定的基调不错确保了从结构上立论上还是比较新颖的文章

大家能不能别一股脑儿的都van gogh
就不怕判个plagiarism??
