130How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society
There is much controversy over this issue of the relation between children and the furture of our society. However, many people would say that children are the future builder, while contemporary society plays an important role in this long run. But for the latter argument whether we have found the way to let next generation know how to build a better future, the speaker does not give sufficient evidences to support that.
To begin with, when the answer comes to who are children's first educator, it usually goes to "parents" and then will be "society". Once one comes to this world, parents start to use actions and words to show him or her what does this family, this community, this world likes and how to express anxiety, happiness, anger and so forth. When one gets older, parents will continue to implant all kind of skills in him or her, like communication, reading, comprehension, etc. For all these reason, parents as a representative of modern society, lay a cornerstone for children's socialization in many areas like moral, art, learning and living. Since as a part of modern society, parents' teaching usually contain all kinds of mainstream ideology which will enduring help children to familiar with and realize this world, and also by the way we want it to be. These thinkings convey the imagines and messages tell them how we modern society want you my children to be like when you grow up. In all, parents and modern society tell children the rules to live and the logic way to think.
The second argument is an appeal to the true purpose of education. A famous saying goes " Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you will get rid of him on weekends." Plainly, how to do logic thinking and how to create future are what modern society system obligate to teach children rather than what one should think or what our society's future should be. Modern ideology is limited by moral, value, civilization, technology and so forth. If we choose the latter education purpose, clearly, our children's creativity would be limited on some extend, and would be easily obstruct the development of education or even ultimately the society. As former mention, the "How" education could be the better mean to be taken to stimulate next generation's potential creativity and establish individual logical thinking. As an example,a survey shows many unviersities and colleges have already establish courses like "Know About Business(KAB)", "Logical Thinking", etc. Since "true" purpose education have already been accepted and applied by our society, we can say that we have already find a way to raise children which on some extend can help children to come up with better notions and means to bring about a better society.
Additionally, benefit from the amazing developing speed of this world, with the opening of people's mind, universalization of education, progression of civilization, children are able to be socialized in various ways. On other words, that will be very helpful to bring progressions and evolutions in future. By multitudinous communication and revealment system, such as television, internet or even television games, can children get newest, diverse message and imformation every single minute. That also means, modern society is creating more and more ways to get children socialized.
To conclude, how to raise children and make them socialzid for bringing out a better society is a complex issue, which relate with multi-field like moral , education, value and so forth. Thus, there are no easy answers for that. Yet as arguments mentioned formerly, I believe that modern society has already found many ways to help children realize our world and then create an better one. Besides, current opening world provide a apt condition and more possiblity for children to become socialzied.

我觉得LZ写的不错，把孩子们的未来定义在父母与教育上了，但客观说2和3段都谈及了教育对孩子的重要意义，所以我建议LZ能重新梳理一下家庭教育与社会（学校）教育的不同点和相同点，因为我读本文时，发现2.3段有重叠的地方，如LZ在2段文中谈及父母教授孩子一些技能，在下一段中说道教育时有说道现代的社会制度下孩子们也学会了一些技能，所以我觉得有点罗嗦了！最后我觉得第4段是亮点，能想读者表达出LZ总结的一些理念，所以第4段加强一下比较好.........
