Nowadays has wittnessed a debated trend of people transfering from one continent to another continent, from one country to another country, and from city to country or from country to city. When it comes to whether people should stay at the country or city all life or transfer from one place to another place, people's views are quite divergent and different on such a complicated and controversial issue. From my point of view, this behavior of transferring or staying at one place should mostly depend on the macroecronomy and polictics background at that time, rather than be determined by individuals' preferences or intentions, due to that individuals' decisions and intentions would be influenced by macroeconomy and changing situations, to a great degree. The following two revolutions would be the aptest examples to illustrate this point. To begin with, the emergence of machine-production substituting hand-production in the Industrial Revolution in 1840s boomed factories' output and facilitated farmers releasing from farms, then pushing into the line of migrating to city where farmers obtained a job to living a life. In this way, Industrial Revolution cause urbanization and population transferring from country to city, which does originate from people's interior mind, but is triggered by the current situation. In present China, China is also experiencing a unpredecence(unpredencent) phenomenon, farmers imigrating from country to city, who are so-called imigrant workers. Since carrying out the policy of Reform and Openning-up, China's economy boosting, requires a plenty of labor forces, especially for the third indurstry. Above all, generally speaking, it is ecocomic factor that forces people moving from country to city, but not one's own preferrence. , c2 M- d# F. M
In addition, the arrival of the Third Techological Revolution in the early 20th century, rapid development of digital and imformation technology has futher speed up the pace of globalizational economic development. More and more people, especially the poors, are still pushing into the municipity, while more and more people return to the rural, to build vilas to enjoy the nature, especially the richs, mainly because that the enviromental problems in municipality have came out, to a maximum scope, such as pollutant emissions from vehicles, solid wasted discharged from enormous factories, and sharp decreasing in grean plants. What's more, people living in city feel greater and greater pressions(pressure) from work, family and so on. Finally, people suffering a tension for a long time would seek for a way to relive themselves, and returning to the nature definitely becomes their best choice to relax. All in all, it is changing situation that compels people move out from city to country, but not one's own decision.
From what I have mentioned above, it is not reasonable to come into conclusion that people should determine where they prefer to live. However, it is the microeconomy and chaging situations that judge where people should move to city or move to country.
