听力很菜,每天都在坚持做Scientific American 60 Second Science听抄,不过不能完全听懂,把每天的听抄贴出来,希望高人指教,不胜感激!

This is Scientific Americans sixty secondsscience. I’m Steve Mirsky. Got a minute?
Broadway has a newproduction of heir the wind(没听出来) based on 1925 scope’smonkey trial. And the American museum of natural history has a new whole ofhuman argens(不知道是哪个词). A short article(没听到) on Monday’s New York Times editorial page about the play and exhibit finished by reminding us that chimp DNA is almost 99% identical to human DNA. The advancer says, perhaps jokingly, that creationists can take heart in different 1% as a 1% chance that evolution did not happen. Well, joke that people may take this seriously. After all, it is on the editorial page of New York Times. So let’s trace this out, in fact the approximate 1% difference in the DNA sequences of human’s and chimp’s is leaving documentation of the random genetic mutation that has been selected in the 60 million years, since we and chimps broke away from the common ancestor. That 1% difference in DNA does represent small chance that evolution did not happen. It is the regulation of evolution that did happen. We all are monkey’s uncle.
