Following the evaluations and interviews of prospective candidates for admission to our program, the admissions committee made initial offers to the first group of applicants and is currently awaiting responses to those offers.  In the interim, the committee has ranked all remaining candidates and placed them, including yours on a wait list.


We only have a limited number of slots available this year, and the responses to our offers have been overwhelmingly positive.  As such, at this time, it does not appear that we will get to your slot on the wait list.  I recognize how difficult it must be to read this letter, and I wish I had better news.  Once all the slots are filled, you will receive official notification.

我有两个waitlist说是要415之后才能出。。我觉得要是手头有offer可以去问一下是不是有可能415之前出，否则就从了手头上的offer。。。
