I vote to support you,but my TOEFL score is for 2003.I am in US now.What I want to say is that TOEFL is important,but not as important as you have imagine.Of course,if you can get higher score,that would be much better.I talked with my advisor who is also the program coordinator,he said that both TOEFL and GRE scores are among consideration as he worries that some international student couldn't survive in English-instruction class.Hope what I said helps.
