No policy of transferring inte JD. However, you can apply to AJD program. It's a 2-year program that does not need LSAT score.

Emory is pretty safe in my opinion. I haven't confront any risk factors at this school. Atlanta is also pretty safe if you don't go too far away from the city and don't walk in downtown Atlanta in the night time narrow streets.
In Georgia Emory is very famous. In U.S. there are Emory alumni working all around the country, especially in NY. The president of Emory Alumni group is working in NY.
Education quality is so good. There are many US wide famous professors in academic field as well as adjacent professors who are practicing lawyer for decades. LLM students actually can choose whatever law aspect to engage as they want.

It depends on what kind of risk you expect. Today one of my classmate broke up his leg, but he only paid for the insurance plan that cost $210, which means that if he needs to do surgery he will pay a very nice bill LOL. However, if you are certain that these kind of risks will not happen, you can take smaller plans.
