------题目------
It is often necessary, even desirable, for political leaders to withhold information from the public.
------正文------
The speaker asserts that as a political leader, it is often or even desirable to withhold information from the public. As far as I concerned, I fundamentally agree with the author's board statement, however, one political leader should not hold the information as he like, as discussed below.

In the first place, I agree with the speaker because as a leader, a very particular position in the social, he or she should gain a nice reputation of the public. After all, let us get down to fundamental and agree with that the leader is also a people--just as the others in the society. Anyone can not be perfect as the God. To hold the trust of the public, which is essential to the leader to administrate, the leader has to withhold some information of him. From the history, we see some leaders terminate his politic career because a scandal of him. To see this point clearly, one need look no further than the Water Gate scandal of Nixon, which lead to the resignation of the president. Consider if every leader tells all the information of himself, it maybe few could be elected. Consequently, it may be practical for the leader to withhold some information about himself to gain the trust of public.

In the second place, a leader, especially the political leader, he or she may know more secrets of the nation or a city, hereby if the leader public the secrets it may be harmful to the stability of the organization. Common sense tells us that the military details play a vital role in keeping the nation safe and peace. Every leader must not public this to the public, otherwise the security of the nation is entirely possible jeopardized by other nations. In addition, an unsure events can not be publicized. For instance, if  that the interests of the bank will fluctuate is told to the residents, they are entirely to get their money out of the bank, which may lead to economic decline of the nation. In short, it is necessary, even desirable for the leader to tell all the information to the public.

It should be admitted that overemphasis on withholding information may bring harm to the nation. Nowadays, as most nations and organizations become more and more democratic, and the public pay more and more attention to the politic realm. If a leader undue use his authority to blind the public, it is likely to result in autarchy. In fact, the political leaders should be supervised by the public. Furthermore, to make the public know certain information can active their positivity to participate the action of a nation. For example, when the SARS came into China, the governor publicizes the data of the patients every day. Then all the members of China participate in the resistance of SARS, result in the success ending. In other words, the leader must not withhold all the information from the public, especially some actions of the nation.

To sum up, due to the reasons mentioned above, we may safely draw the conclusion that as a leader, particularly a political leader, it is often necessary to withhold certain from the public. Nevertheless, he or she should not undue his authority to make the public blind to some important information.

It is often necessary, even desirable, for political leaders to withhold information from the public.
------正文------
The speaker asserts that as a political leader, it is often or even desirable to withhold information from the public.(最好换一下词,不要照抄题目) As far as I concerned, I fundamentally agree with the author's board statement, however, one political leader should not hold the information as he like, as discussed below.

In the first place, I agree with the speaker because as a leader, a very particular position in the social(society), he or she should gain a nice reputation of the public. After all, let us get down to fundamental(好像没这个用法,换成basically会不会好一些) and agree with that the leader is also a people(集合名词,用person,这句话有些罗嗦,可以简单说,basically,a leader is also a common member in the society)--just as the others in the society. Anyone can not be perfect as the God. To hold the trust(support) of the public, which is essential to(for) the leader to administrate, the leader has to withhold some information of him(from the public). From the history, we see some leaders terminate his politic career because(of) a scandal of him. To see this point clearly(to substantiate this viewpoint), one need look no further than the Water Gate scandal of Nixon, which lead to the resignation of the president. Consider if every leader tells all the information of himself, it maybe few could be elected. Consequently, it may be practical for the leader to withhold some information about himself to gain the trust of public.(水门事件的例子有些牵强,尼克松不单是withhold some information but use illegal measure in the course of reelection,换成布什竞选时并没有把少年风流以及学习成绩D的情况一一向选民汇报是不是好一些)这段观点不错,论证也很自然。

In the second place, a leader, especially the political leader, he or she may know more secrets of the nation or a city, hereby(thereby) if the leader public(reveals) the secrets it may be harmful(may do harm) to the stability of the organization. Common sense tells us that the military details play a vital role in keeping the nation safe (safety)and peace. In short, it is necessary, even desirable for the leader to tell all the information to the public.(嗯?笔误?)这段论证精彩!

It should be admitted that overemphasis on withholding information may bring harm to the nation. Nowadays, as most nations and organizations become more and more democratic, and the public pay more and more attention to the politic realm. If a leader undue(unduely) use his authority to blind the public, it is likely to result in autarchy. In fact, the political leaders should be supervised by the public. Furthermore, to make the public know certain information can active their positivity to participate the action of a nation. For example, when the SARS came into China, the governor publicizes the data of the patients every day. Then all the members of China participate in the resistance of SARS, result in the success(successful) ending. In other words, the leader must not withhold all the information from the public, especially some actions of the nation.(这句话不要好像更自然)这位仁兄思路真是清晰,连贯,这么短的时间,佩服!

To sum up, due to the reasons mentioned above, we may safely draw the conclusion that as a leader, particularly a political leader, it is often necessary to withhold certain from the public. Nevertheless, he or she should not undue(unuse) his authority to make the public blind to some important information。

不错的文章,思路连贯,观点鲜明,论证到位,词汇要是再多样化一些更棒拉!:victory
