One fact proved by scientific studies is that the fast learning occurs when the students are interested in or in need of what is to be taught. Knowledge, nevertheless, is not sufficient for an individual to be an integral element of the society, or at least to survive the culture. What education is aimed to instruct the student is to adjust the student according to the cultural criteria, which makes it more appropriate to say that education should meet the social needs than those of the student per se.
