超了大概五分钟,用word检查了语法,错别字多的不像样子

The speaker asserts the value of the historical figures can only be decided by the people after them while not by their contemporaries. Fundamentally I agree with this idea although there exist some exceptions.

To begin with, many discoveries or productions are hard to be judged fairly by contemporaries because they are far beyond the limitation of time. Even if no people wants to suppress and discriminate the new ideas and inventions, the limit of their intelligence and perceiveness will impede them from giving a right comment. There are many examples concerning this issue. One striking one is about the great physist Albert Einstain, who developed a brand new theory, which expands the frontier of physics tremendously, relative theory. Although it has been proved the most significant discovery in 20th century, it was understood and accepted by no more than ten people at that time. Even some notable scientists considered his devotion something ridiculous and unrealistic. Another example is concerning about great artist Rembrandt. Rembrandt was a popular drawer until he drew a picture named night watch, which then was considered a big failure and rejected by the client who ordered it. Rembrandt led a poor life and lost his popularity due to this picture. However, many years after his death, Rembrandt ' "night watch" was reckoned his most successful masterpiece and forever kept in great museum. The reason why his picture received totally different treatment is because his pioneer demonstration of shadow and light, which had not tried by any artist before him. From the two cases, we can see that extraordinary people as well as their jobs can hardly be judged by their peers because common people are not capable of thinking as genius.

In addition, there exist certain circumstances in which distorted judgments have to be made. This is easy to understand. In the society of dictatorship, no criterion except governors' is allowed to be alive. Take the Soviet Union reined by Stalin as an example. In that time's Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin can determine everything, from the value of a literature works to the life of a person. As a result, nobody dared to question Stalin's judgment regardless of turning against his decision. So if Stalin made any wrong judgment, his people had no option but to adhere to him, which leads to unfair judgments. This kind of thing is not rare and another compelling reason, especially for political leader, is that policemen have a large possibility to belie some information, which is critical for their political lives. Without having this crucial information in hand, populace will give the leaders a unilateral evaluation based on their incomplete information. Only several years even centuries after the leader's death, can this secret information disclosed and a more proper assessment provided. These cases show us the possibility that poor judgment of contemporary people can be partly attributed to the monarchy and hidden information.

Admittedly, there are also some circumstances where their contemporaries can judge people or their work’s value appropriately. This is often seen especially in certain realms where the contribution of certain people can be easily understood by authorities and their achievements do not surpass their era too much. Take Isaac Newton for example, as one of the greatest scientist, even when he was still alive, he won great popularity not only within the research circle but also to the populace. Another example is concerning about the most wealthy man in the world- Bill Gates. Although he is not old and still in his heyday, we can asses him with full confidence that he is a very successful businessman, not only due to his great wealth but also due to the tremendous change he and his products bring to the world. Therefore, we cannot neglect the possibility individual's greatness be perfectly evaluated by his contemporaries.

To sum up, I primarily agree with the asserter's opinion on the basis of two reasons: firstly, some people especially some genius whose thoughts surpass their peers dramatically can scarcely be appraised properly: secondly, restricted by certain political environment or by hidden information individual can not receive comprehensive appraisal contemporarily, although we should also take the existence of exceptions into account.

Mencius said,"When heaven is about to confer a great office on any man,it first exercises his mind with suffering, and his sinews and bones with toil.It exposes his body to hunger………….By all these methods, it stimulates his mind, consolidates his character, and increases his efficiency".

One striking one这个说法感觉有些怪,你确定吗? is about the great physist Albert Einstain, who developed a brand new theory, which expands the frontier of physics tremendously, relative theory.
