The following appeared in a memo from the manager of television station KICK.
"A nationwide survey reveals that a sizeable majority of men would like to see additional sports programs on television. After television station WACK increased its sports broadcasts, its share of the television audience in its viewing area almost doubled. To gain a larger audience share in our area, and thus increase company profits, KICK should also revise its broadcast schedule to include more sports coverage."

The manager of television station KICK asserts in his memo that KICK television station should add more sports programs to its broadcast schedule in order to attract more audiences and to gain more profits. For supporting his suggestion the manager cites a data of a nationwide survey to illustrate that the most men prefer additional sports programs than other ones on television. And he also gives a similar case – WACK station whose television audience is almost doubled after adding additional sports program on television. However, close scrutiny reveals that this claim is based on wrong preconditions. Thus the suggestion is unconvincing.

Firstly, the manager assumes falsely that the audience complexion in his area is as same as one in the whole nation. How does he make this conclusion from the nationwide survey? The additional sports programs might not be so attractive to the men in KICK’s viewing area. The local male resident may pay more attention to the technology programs. Even if the men there prefer additional sports programs on television, we still cannot deduce that the television audience rate will go up because maybe the women in KICK’s viewing area would not like the sports program and the population of woman is higher than one of man there. Only a national survey cannot eliminate these doubts.

Then the case of WACK television cannot lend a strong support to the manager’s suggestion either. Assuming that WACK’s viewing areas are not overlap KICK’s viewing areas. Different groups of people in different region may not share the same interest of television program just as I mentioned in the former paragraph. Even if WACK’s viewing areas include KICK’s viewing areas, we still cannot conclude that KICK will attract more male audience. Considering about the possibility that a fierce competition between KICK and WACK may exist there, WACK may have a better reputation due to his earlier additional sports program on television than KICK. KICK may not attract more people than usual.

To sum up, we need more investigation to get the true information in KICK’s viewing area. The suggestion the manager claimed and the reason he asserted are unconvincing and we cannot add additional sports programs to KICK’s broadcast schedule in haste only owing to the national survey and WACK’s case.

Firstly, the manager assumes falsely that the audience complexion in his area(有点不妥,可以改成in KICK’s viewing area ) is as same as one in the whole nation. How does he make this conclusion from the nationwide survey? The additional sports programs might not be so attractive to the men in KICK’s viewing area(为避免重复这里改成in this area).

Assuming that WACK’s viewing areas are not overlap KICK’s viewing areas.( Assuming that WACK’s viewing areas and KICK’s don’t overlap.) Different groups of people in different region may not share the same interest of television program just as I mentioned in the former paragraph(这个理由有点重复了). KICK may not attract more people than usual(这个理由比较牵强,因为一次比赛的收视率并不能影响到平均收视率).(总的说来,第二段的论证不够充分)

To sum up, we need more investigation to get the true information in KICK’s viewing area. The suggestion the manager claimed and the reason he asserted are unconvincing and we cannot add additional sports programs to KICK’s broadcast schedule in haste only owing to the national survey and WACK’s case.
(两句顺序最好能倒一下,先写结论不能成立,再写为了更好的支持这个结论,还需要哪些信息)
