The heated debate that whether teachers should assign homework to students every day is under way. (I personally dislike such template sentences because they add little meaningful weight to essays. But examiners tend to just skim through them anyway, so there's not much harm in using them either.) Considering that we can have some gainful (This word means 'profitable', and is normally used in business rather than social contexts.) effects from doing homework every day, I agree with the statement that it is necessary for teachers to assign homework to students in their daily studying routine.
To begin with, it is undeniable that doing homework every day is a good way to review some sophisticated knowledge we study in class.(So you're saying homework reviews ONLY sophisticated knowledge? And 'un-sophisticated' knowledge is not worth reviewing through homework? This is a typical example of loose logic.) Without doing homework, we're not able to check that whether we understand the lectures given by our professors thoroughly. Take my brother Tom for example. He was a person who wasn’t willing to do everyday homework, however, his literature teacher was a serious person who always assigned homework every day. Tom was compelled to do his homework by the requirement from his literature teacher, thus the lecture learned in the daytime would have several times revision (This is an obvious direct translation from Chinese. A proper expression would be '..would have been revised several times..'. Use more verbs and more active description.) by doing homework. At the end of this (Which? 'This' is a PRONOUN, it needs to refer to something. It doesn't mean anything solid by itself.) semester, Tom's literature grade was gradually (If you use 'gradually', it indicates something that occurs over a period of time rather than at a particular point of time, so the beginning of this sentence should be 'By the end of this semester..') improved by this indispensable day-to-day homework revision. (As always, I must bid you to pause and think for a moment: you've argued that homework is good as a tool for revision, but does it HAVE to be done EVERYDAY to be effective? Will your brother still improve if the teacher required him to do homework every two days? WHY does the question specifically ask about 'everyday' homework?)
Furthermore, it is also indisputable that we can realize some misunderstanding misunderstood issue (You don't 'realize' an issue. You 'resolve' an issue.) or find out about? obscure contents in the lecture by doing homework in our daily study. Take my own experience for another instance. Once, I thought I fully understood a formula used to calculate a physics? problem. Nevertheless, when I used this formula in the practice, I found some points that I ignored in class. Hence, I raised these issues in the homework to find the solution. (Again, think about your argument: is your example possible if the homework is not on an 'everyday' basis? Or better, is homework the ONLY means for you to discover misunderstandings in lectures? And most important of all, how does your experience relate back to the question? You should always keep in mind that you're expected to answer an question or prove a point, not just to give examples or arguments. Examples or arguments are only means to an end.)
(It could be as simple as 'Thus, I think it's necessary to assign daily homework, because daily homework helps to clarify issues.' at the end of this paragraph. Many people may think this is dumb, but without this, your argument will appear as open-ended and incomplete.)
Finally, it is undoubted that we can cultivate our decent time management awareness (This is another obvious direct translation.), such as completing the assignments left by teachers on time, by doing everyday homework. From a recent survey I have in hand, more than half of students will not complete their tests? on time. (I would definitly doubt the validity of your data, because the conclusion is just too vague to be believable - which students? what level are they studying at? what tests are we talking about? and why do you say 'will not', which indicates that 'not completing tests on time' is an active choice of these students, rather than a passive state? Fake data is, in fact, very easy to spot. 'Specific examples and reasons' doesn't mean they must be personal. You might not think so but such fake examples are extremely obvious and will only make your essay appear naive.) The reason is that they don't have enough persistent practice after daily studying, but waste some time on the unrelated extra-curricular activities. It is apparent to find that the classes which had a regular daily homework would (If you use 'would', this means you're describing an expectation, not a fact - another hint that your so-called survey is likely non-existent.) perform better in the test (What test?) than those classes lacking such practices.
Judging from the evidences I offered above, it is obvious to find that not only can doing homework nurture our awareness of to reviewing (You have the habit of using gerunds. Avoid them because they make sentences difficult to read. Use verbs where possible.) the knowledge every day, but also can spur us to find more questions to discuss in the next lecture. Meanwhile, it is a good opportunity for our teachers to get feedback from their students (I think this means 'us'.) by everyday homework. (This is a completely new point, and you won't be able to elaborate on it. DO NOT raise new points in your conclusion paragraph. It's again a signal of an open-ended, incomplete argument.)
