1、  1、总体概括目前社会的难题，并说明人类需要解决这些问题的必备条件。
2、  2、从正面说明一个综合性的大学的确会帮助我们解决这些难题。正如谚语所说：当你有一个苹果，我有一个，我们交换每人还是只有一个苹果；而假如我们各有一个思想，当我们交换之后每人也就有了两种思想。如何解决现代社会的难题也因而相同，当我们把各地域的顶尖人物聚集到一起，想必种种难题也就解决的更快，虽然这还需一定的时间。
3、  3、但是，由于各方面条件的有限性，这样的大学的存在值得我们深刻讨论：这样的大学的科研费用很高，虽然一部分源于政府拨款，而这些仅仅是有限的数目，另外这是世界性的难题，研究起来也自然比其他学科更耗材耗力，再加上这些难题几乎源于社会，在科技发展上并不多见，当解决难题成为一种趋势后，更多的人将加入此行列，势必也减少了从事其他行业的人才，从而可能降低其他学科比如科技的发展。
4、  4、另一部分则来自于学生的学费和书籍费用，这就会使得学生家庭的负担更大，因为他们得支付比一般学校更高的费用，借鉴当今经济危机，在亚洲上学成为了许多人梦寐以求的一件事，而高学费却使得他们对大学校门望而止步。
5、  5、的确，我们需要许多专家汇集于此来讨论目前社会的难题，但开设一所全球性的大学将会使得一个国家的资金趋于紧缺，同时培养出能够研究这样的人还需时间，所以，目前的社会难题可能会持续更久。

Several global challenges have been defined over the recent years, as a coin has two sides, it is important for people to realize that there may be both positive effects and passive effects when we deal with it. However, this view has caused public concern.

Granted, some measures should be taken by government such as supporting the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world’s most persistent social problems. As an old saying goes: if you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas. As a result, when it comes to the world’s most persistent social problems, as soon as specialists gathered, it is commonly accepted that we will resolve these problems easily in a global university.

However, on the one hand, although a part of R&D costs may be paid by government, the rest of which is still at a high price in such a global university. Additionally, it is commonly accepted that, along with great quantities run off in talented person who used to exhibit much interest in other means of technology such as computer science and math, there may be a decreasing trend in the development of high technology, which may causes a nation of the science level fall behind.

On another, no one can deny the basic fact that R&D costs also comes from students’ tuition fees and prices of books, which make their family more stressful and less leisurely than in the past, are still soaring by the day. In many places of Asia, people in growing numbers are beginning to complain that there is so heavy tuition fees that they cannot afford their children to go to school but to put them in an unpleasant job market.

Accordingly, some specialists are still needed such as socialists and educationalists to deal with these problems in modern society, but there may be another financial crisis or other problems after a global university has been built, what’s more, there will be an extremely long time during a normal person to a specialist. From what has discussed, we can safely draw the conclusion that we can finish debate this view between the world’s most persistent social problems and whether to build a global university still after several decades of years.
