还有十天了,题库还没看完呢。。呜呜~~
熟悉的话题还有的可写点,继续奋战题库。
语言觉得还差很多,需要润色,希望同仁指导~~
提纲:完全同意,小组学习具有很多优势
1、对学生而言,可以吸取相互的新观点,更加有效地解决问题,完成作业等;
举例子是哈佛大学的学生学习小组
2、对科学研究而言,合作通常会带来新观点新见解从而有重大发现;
举例子是DNA双螺旋的发现,有一位女科学家提供了晶体衍射数据
3、小组学习可以为将来进入工作环境的“teamwork”做一个演练
TOPIC: ISSUE 42 - "Because learning is not a solitary activity but one that requires collaboration among people, students of all ages will benefit academically if they work frequently in groups."

The author asserted that learning is not solitary activity which needs more collaboration and groups to improve the learning effect. I totally agree with the statement. Not only due to the fundamental purposes of education, but also because of the high-effective study procedures should children aggregate and study in groups to express the true merits and beauty of learning.
Admittedly, everyone has his or her own learning capabilities and diversity of cognition which result in the different learning models. While, there is an old saying that "Two heads are always better than one”, which means we can always find teachers and directors from people around us, that is simply common in our daily study lives. Schoolmates receive the same learning procedures from school teaching while after class, there is sufficient time for children get together assimilating and rethinking what have learned from class. At that time, group studying has been expressing its unique importance. Children exchange their viewpoints from each other, arguing math problems which cannot be solved easily, finding different ways to settle the issue more efficiently. Through these innovative activities, children open their minds to various views which didn’t come into one's mind but would bring him fresh and useful perspectives to look deeply through the question itself, providing deep press on how to solve problems. So, can't we refuse to accept this applicable way to thinking and studying effectively? Students in Harvard Law School have a tradition that they form studying groups naturally to finish the assignment in class, including understanding documentations, preparing presentations, while sharing responsibilities with each member of a group. Since professors always set too much as usual workload on children in Harvard, so this kind of studying-group model makes the whole tough studying procedure more proficient and interesting, also it is a positive way to make friends with people who have a common goal with each other.
Moreover, group studying also shows diversity advantages in natural science researches. When Watson and Crick are successful in discovering the structure of DNA molecular, there is another remarkable woman scientist Franklin who provides her crystal-diffraction photograph of DNA molecular as the most important supportive evidence for their assumption. Based on this structure information, Watson and Crick gave brave further assumptions and scientific demonstration which finally reached the world-shaking conclusion that the structure of DNA molecular is double helix. This innovative perspective quickly overspread through the world, changing people's vision angle to look through the genetic world and of course bringing about a great mass fervor on studying genetic properties and DNA biological functions. It is a great pity that at the year of 1962, Franklin died due to severe disease, and the two greatest persons together with the colleague of Franklin called Wilkins who was also contributive to the discovery, share that year's Noble Prize in Medicine and Physiology to commend their outstanding work on revealing human genetic rules and the true fact of genetics. Without the crystal-diffraction, Watson and Crick will never find any supportive information or any clear guidance on the following research to bolster their brave assumption so that their farseeing development would never been submitted on the broad of the Noble Prize's judges. Cooperation in scientific research can be of great importance to push the technologies moving forward while changing the world step by step.
Another important aspect for leaning together in a group is that we can consider this group studying an imitation for future working in a team to fulfill a task separately. Nowadays, successful colleges and companies encourage their children and employers studying and working in groups and highly recommend the concept of "teamwork", which can be a criterion to select qualified talents. People now want to attend a large company which have a lot more opportunities should learn to cooperate with others and try to respect other's work while tolerate people who hold different ideas with yours. All of these can be a different training from what we receive in school, just because collaboration are playing a more and more important role in communications with others, efficient working in a team while even learning rapidly through one's life. We should handle these techniques to develop ourselves.
In summary, I fully concede that students will beneficial much from studying in groups among people, and there must be valuable knowledge and perspectives for children to gain from a group including outstanding persons. |
