I agree with the statement. Technology has come to pervade every aspect of our lives. It enables people to live more happily and comfortably. Meanwhile, as the speed technology advances develop is more remarkable than ever and the preciseness of technology is beyond normal person’s understanding, technology in turn bring our normal life into a complicated situation: you can not control your own life anymore.

The main trend of nowadays’ technology development is network, more specifically, wireless network. Embedded devices and systems are now everywhere in our daily lives, such as mobile phone, phone bank and credit card, electronic commerce, online trading and payment. Thanks to these technology innovations, people now do not need spend a large amount of time standing in the queue to pay their bills, buy foods , visit an old friend across the whole country, They can do all of these things on the internet, even without a computer. The only thing they need is a cell phone, since 3G technology allows it to connect internet in almost everywhere. In this sense, technology brings many advantages to our lives.

However, every coin has two sides. To the extent technology pervade in daily lives, people cannot but become more dependable on the huge technology system, which make our lives become complicated. For example, scientist and technicians are working hard on intelligent and remote control on home devices, enable people to get rid of housework. But once the system is not in a good condition, the result will be awesome. They may just want to make a meal at home, but before they get one, they have to spend one week on learning how this intelligent control system work and find where the problem is.



The complicacy is not only found in the application of technology in the daily life, but also in the people’s psychological behavior and mental sense. Many social surveys report that people in this industry modern world feel more lonely than those live before the third technology revolution, some of them even get lost. People may can contact their friends every time and every where by call or on internet, but they have less opportunities to touch their real friends, see their look in eyes danced with merriment.


Technology itself has no implication on simplicity or complicacy. The real value of technology development is to make people feel that our lives are better than before. However, it seems to have a long way ahead of technological success.
