Technology creates more problems than it solves, and may threaten or damage the quality of life

Instead of fire and candle, we use electricity to lighten our world; Covering for carrige, we take mordern cars to visit our world; Replacing manual work, we handle machines to manuafacture pruducts. Undoubtedly, people are rushing down the path to embrace the life surrounded by various of technology, but some of them are worried that this path would lead us to a lower quality of life. However, I would claim that technology have more adavantages than disadvantages.

To begin with, it can not deny that technology indeed creats some problems. Atomic-bomb has killed millions of lives and continuously threathens our life.The casuaties suffer from affition on both body and soul. Few of them could live a life with quality, even loose the chance to live a life. Transgenosis food arouses numerous deputy on the safty for edible and the damage of ecosysterm. If people are worring about the side-efffect of food day and night, no quality of life can we have. Develoment of industry cause pollution everywhere. Surrounded by acid rain and dirty air, we are easier to experience respiratory symptoms. It is the truth that technology, in some aspect, threatens the quality of life. However, we can not overlook the contribution which technology improves the quality of life.

Nuclear energy not only used to make atomic-bomb, but also used to generate eletric power. This provides quantities of power which we are lack of and in large demand. And the electricity makes a lightful night that makes it possible for people to enjoy a colorful life. Hybird rice which pruduced incredible output of rice is actually a sort of transgenosis food. Not gene from other species, but a combination of differrent rice. Thanks for it, the hybird rice make millions of people far from starvation. Though the development of industry makes much pollution, but it produced lots of products to satisfy our demand. Hi-technology decrease the labor time of people, we have more spare time to have entertainment. Despite the disadavantage of technology, we should admit that we are living a better life than before. Otherwise, people living in the primitive society would have higher quality of life.

In fact, whether technology will threaten or damage the quality of life depends on how human beings use it. Parts of the technology are no longer functioning the way they were originally envisioned. Powder, first used to refine medicine, was then bring to make arms. The powder itself has no responsibilty to the casualty, it is human beings action that kills lives. If there is no poewder, people would still hurt themselves reciprocally. As a consequent, it is human beings’ depravity that threatens and damages the quality of life, technology is just a tool. Without it, we won’t have a higher quality of life.

The author argues that technology may threaten or damage the quality of life. But does it actually tell us anything about the world today? The last time we had a time with technology of zero amount was shortly before our ancestors come into being. We have been living in a higher quality of life ever since. In sum, the vital thing about technology is the amount of its downside or upside but how human beings use it.
