In this era of dramatic social developmentbringing us a law-abiding society, perhaps no one can live without the influenceof the laws. As every one knows, a law-abiding society is a civilized society, where every people's right is protected and the whole social order is ensured,so every body can live and work in peace and contentment. But in the realisticworld, things are not that perfect, myriad problems emerge one after another. Partly, such unperfect situation is stem from the "unperfect laws". As iswidely-accepted, there are two types of laws: just and unjust. It is obviousthat every individual in a society has a responsibility to obey just laws. However, squarely asserting it is more important for us to disobey or evenresist unjust laws can not be easy agreed.

First of all, there are no such absolutejust laws. Every single law in this world has its dual character. It seems tobe benefits to a specific group of people while must be not profitable to the others. So every individual has his or her own criteria, thus when two different peoplejudge the same thing, it is possible that the results of the judgment aretotally different or even the opposite. In addition, people's criteria willchange with the development of the society. Some laws are apparent to be all rightin the past may be very unjust at present. So, if every one has the right todetermine whether the law is just or not, the law would lose its dignity. Thefairness of the law is not absolute, but objective.

Secondly, as long as it is a law, we haveto obey it, because laws are compellent. Just as mentioned above, differentpeople have different criteria. Supposing that every one of us can judge a lawfrom his or her own point of view, and only obey what he or she thought to bejust while disobey or even object what he or she considered to be unjust, thenhow disordered the society might be! Such disordered situation will be a hugeobstacle for the economy and social development

Lastly, however, the laws are flexible andcan be constantly improved. So, even if some of the laws are obviously not appropriatetoday, we should use the rational and legal measures to rectify it, such asgive some suggestions to the legislature. It is not right for us to take someextreme actions to show our resistance against the laws, because that may notonly be unnecessary, but also disturb the public order.

To sum up, both of the just and unjust lawsshould be obeyed by every individual in a society, because the so-called"just" or "unjust" is not absolute, different people mayhave different opinions. If we can choose what we considered just to obey, oursociety would become quite disorder. Even when finding a fallacy in the law, tobe a responsible citizen, we should take a rational and legal way to rectifyit, not disobey or resist it.
