TOPIC: ARGUMENT100 - The following appeared in a memo from the chief operating officer of the Presto Manufacturing Company.
"Since orders for our major product increased by over 200 percent last quarter, we should promptly expand production by building a new manufacturing plant in Summit City. Summit City is the ideal location for the new plant because it has low property taxes, extensive blocks of land available for immediate purchase, and a large number of residents who are not currently employed."

After scrutiny this memo, I find that the arguer wants to conlude that Summit City is the best option to establish the new manufacturing plant, because Summit City has low property taxes and extensive available land, and what's more many indigences are not employed, In my opinion, this argument is based on several flaws as it stands.
To begin with, the arguer fails to provide credible evidence to justify that the demond for their product will continuly increase. Even though the orders for their product in the last quarter are over 200 percent, the writer does not consider that last quarter may be an aberration, and there is entirely possible that in the following years the orders will decrese inevitably. Without cogent evidence, the writer can not convince us that the orders for their product will still increase.
In addition, even though the demonds for the product will continue boosting, the writer still give no sufficient support to substantiate that establishing a new manufacturing plant can figure out the problem. The writer  does not provide detail information of the new manufacturing plant, and perhaps, the capacity of the new manufacture is smaller than the original then the orders for their product can not be satisfied. If the writer wants to substantiate his assumption, he must give adequate evidence to demonstrate that building a new manufacture can settle the demonds.
Finally, even though the new manufacture is big enough, there still no  evidence to verify that the Summit City is the best place to establish the new manufacturing plant. Although the city implements low property taxes, and the there exist ample feasible land, the writer fails to consider that it is extremely possible the creation in the Summit City is considerable low, and thus contributes to the former  advantages. Meanwhile, the writer unfairly asserts that the unemployed individuals in the Summit City will choose to work in the Presto Manufacturing Company, they may come out to the other cities to look for the job.
In summary, the arguer does not perfectly organize the argument, and even lends on scant evidence to support his conclusion. To solidify the argument, he should provide detail evidence to demonstrate that the orders for their products in the following year will raise consistently, and at the same time, the writer should depict the capacity of the new manufacture to convince us that it can successful solve the problem. To better assess the argument, the writer must list credile evidence to verify that the Summit City is the best choice for establishing the new manufacture.
