It is seems like that we are totally different from what we are yesterday, however, we are the same, our human essentiality will never change. Thus, the speaker assertion is just the superficial observation. Tradition and modernization are in harmony with each other and we do not have to choose one between them.

Admittedly, in some cases the traditional is discordant with modernization and being replaced. First, we are no longer blind worship the God. We do not need to do sacrifice to pray for foison, technology help us yield more food. In addition, new technology research changed our old opinion that: it is better to get marriage with the one has a kin relative. Biological research indicates that endogamy will lead a much higher possibility to have a hereditary disease. We are no more thinking the Gods lived in sky or other planet; we can even step on the moon now. We are now lived in a world that advanced than ever.

On the other hand, traditions and modernization can combine perfectly. Firstly, in the fashion field, we can always see that top fashion designers combine the traditional element with modern element to their new project. Secondly, there is no conflict in the modern society to during the traditional festivals such as Spring Festival in China and Thanks Giving Day in US, and to eat traditional food like dumplings in China and Turkey in Western countries. There is no boundary between tradition and modernization.

In addition, a numerous of traditional ideas that hand down generation to generation are useful in today's world. Primarily, the wisdom works done by ancients are always our human's most valuable treasures. From Socrates to Sartre the research to wisdom is never ceased. Philosophy, the word created by ancient Greeks combines with 'love' and 'wisdom', which lead our human being to ask rather than accept. The Art of War, the Chinese most famous ancient book about tactics, are used widely in the world today, even some business man use this in the business 'war'. We are human, so our interior character will never change, that's the reason the traditional ideas are useful.

Further more, the most significant way to do with tradition is to absorb it's merit and wipe out it's dregs. We welcome Democracy but not Monarchy, we claim freedom but not always conformity, and we advocate science but not blind worship. We are advancing so dose our thought, so the traditions may have something behind the time or even wrong, we must abnegate them and to hold the eternal thing. That is the right way to treat tradition; not blindness adoration and not abortion all of it.

All in all due to the above mentioned words, tradition and modernization are always hand in hand with each other, the combine of them becomes tomorrow’s tradition, and this is the essential that human being could go further.
