请教：国内直接申请F1还是去美国F2-F1

如果你已经结婚了,要以F1的身份出来可能不太容易.
我老公的同学的妻子以F1身份去签证了三回都被据了, 后来又以F2身份去签, VO
还是不答应, 认为他们严重的移民倾向.
想清楚哦, F1身份被据的话, 对F2签证也会有影响的.

Don't take the risk to apply F1visa in China mainland.I don't think there is much difference for you to change your status in U.S. than go there directly as a student.

But it's said that  in the States only some lucky F2s succeed in changing status to F1? By the way, if, for example, my visa is valid till July 1, do I have to apply for extention after July 1 if i'm in the States then? Will any jm in the States please tell me? Thank you.

No, you don't need to extend your stay at U.S. as long as your husband is still studying under F1 status. Your leagal stay period is not decided by your visa expiration date.Till now, it is not that diffulult to change your status in U.S., except it takes some time.

where did you hear that? it's not true. till now, We never heard someone was rejected to change F2 to F1 if you have enough finacial support.
You don't need to apply for visa extension if you are already  in Unite States. Visa is only necessary when you need to go out or enter the country.

When can F2 submit such a applicatinon "F2->F1"?
