It has recently been announced that a new high school may be built in your community. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details in your answer.



Not long ago, there was a survey on my community asking people which point they may hold according to an establishment of a new high school. Since it is a significant issue which may do a pretty influence in our daily life, many people express their opinions. Some of them oppose it when they consider that the school may lead to a mount of noise. Though the disadvantages that building a high school result in are numerous, they can not compete with the benefits, when improvement of human environment and convenience are taken into account.

The most remarkable advantage the construction brings about is the enhancement of human environment. For example, some new stores such as bookshop may appear after the new school is set up, which, to some degree, could increase the number of people who become used to reading. Furthermore, People who read lots of books may discuss best sellers or current affairs together, sharing different views and speeding more time in communicating to each other, which make their relationships tighter.

Another impressive merit of building a high school is that people in neighborhood may get more convenience. For instance, people who want to buy books such as magazines or novels may spend less time on the road and relatively more time on choosing which book he/she would like to take. Maybe children also prefer the convenience, too. They could spare more hours to accumulate knowledge such as reading or doing some homework and pay less attention to the safety on their way to school.

Although some people may concern the minor noisy problem when students finish the classes, I feel like the advantages are more obvious. The convenience with which people could enhance their living standard and the human environment improved by construction plan will contribute to communal harmony. And all of this may make people living here feel more happiness.
