Someone advocates that the most important factor for developing country successfully is improving schools. Although such assertion has merits in some aspect, I cannot totally agree.
In the first place(我记得的用法是for the first place,不知道对错……), There is no deny that development of school is so important for society. School is such a place where educates country’s future(好句子,赞一个~~)—the students. So good place is more likely to make good students. Then good students can do more contributions to society.
Imagine, if a country ignores the importance of education, what would happen? Maybe in short terms of years, the consequence is not obvious, but after one or two decades, the country would be(去掉) go back or be influenced toward(to) negative direction because of lacking of enough talents, who can enhance society’s productivity.
In the second place, however development of a nation cannot totally rely on improving schools. If It is real, why is our country still engaging in other fields to better our country? The governors are not foolish, are they? In fact, there are some other factors that benefit development of country as well as education. For example, the welfare is at least as crucial as education. Consider, If a country offers poor welfare to its citizens, the whole nation is definitely in completely disorder. Because, government fails to provide enough basic conditions such as shelter, clothe, food, and transportation, so(because和so不能连用吧?) people have not(don't have个人感觉好点) available time and money to think about education for the simple reason they must consider how to survive first.(汗,话说,这句我没读懂……)
In the last place, actually, history tells us a nation’s successful development depends on many factors, while education is just one of them. For instance, We should have strong army force to defend people’s safety. Like Iraq, people in Iraq are always worried about battles and their lives, so the country cannot be developed. The luckiest thing for this country is that it does not go in reverse before end of war.
To sum up, I disagree with the assertion that improving schools is the most factors in successful development of country for the simple reason that some other factors also determine if a country be well developed or not. |
