Should students bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study rather than accept it passively? I concede that we can benefit from accepting knowledge passively. However, I strongly agree that not only students but also all of us should bring a certain skepticism to whatever we study.一般有strongly agree,就说明一边倒了,一般别用strongly agree


Admittedly, accepting the knowledge passively sometimes acts as an important role in our study since it is the most effective means to gather knowledge. After all, we are not born knowledgeble. Therefore, all knowledge are strangers. Only the way of accepting them passively at first, can we absorb in them effectively.(是不是绝对了点) If refusing to learn them passively, we will surely waste a bounteous of time and our knowledge system will hardly be formed. A report from the Ministry Of Education in China concluded that when encountering into the fresh knowledge, 95% of the students considered that reciting them at the start is the most helpful measures for totally grasp of them. (数字会不会编的高了些)Therefore, it is the way of accepting whatever they study passively (为什么要加the way of?)that makes students learn more effectively.

Nevertheless, critical as the accepting knowledge passively is, never can we ignore the indispensible and irreplaceable of the skepticism, for the reason that they help students to modification the mistakes that the teachers and books make. As we know, everyone in the world is not perfect, therefore, it is entirely possible that the books and teachers make mistakes. If blindly accepting everything in the books or that is taught by our teachers, undoubtedly, we will make the same mistakes that have occurred on our books and teachers. Oftentimes negligible as the mistakes are, they might culminate in serious consequences in some specific cases. Consider the medieval medicine, a time human anatomy not being allowed, for example. It is because of the lack of courage to challenge the authority that innumerable patients died as a result of improper treatment. If the medicinal students and doctors in the medieval had been courageous enough to cast doubt on the medications, numerous lives would have been saved. Hence, it is the skepticism that helps us to modification the mistakes.

Moreover, skepticism helps us to discover and invent new things. While ferreting out the mistakes of the books and teachers, we might think about how to correct it. In that process, it is largely possible that we may be enlightened and bring about new things to replace the mistakes, even creating advanced objects. When it comes to this point, I can think no better example than the case of Copernicus. Had it not been for the skepticism, Copernicus would have never point out that the Ptolemaic’s(拼写错误) theory was wrong, and the advent of the theory that the earth and other planets revolve around the sun would have not come to us so early. It is Copernicus's skeptical spirits that culminate in the born of the great theory. Another compelling example is the Einstein. He treated Newton's laws of motion with skepticism and found out that it is only suitable for materials(不合适) in the macro world,and thus formed the principle of relativity which is suitable for motion in both macro and micro worlds. Accordingly, the skepticism helps us to bring about new things.

To wrap up, accepting knowledge passively lays an foundation for students’ knowledge system while skepticism helping to correct mistakes and bringing about new thing. Not only students but also all of the human should be encouraged to bring about a certain skepticism to whatever they learn after they have an adequate cognition about knowledge.
比起第三段的2个例子,是不是前面的太单薄了
题目讲到students,你这里根本不讲,谈的是质疑的好处会不会偏题?
