The industry of movie has developed rapidly over the past decades. Various movies have been made, including love, war, history, documentary, fairy tale and so forth. Here comes a hot topic about which kind of movie is better to watch. Some people would like to see the serious movie that can make them get deeper think. But for me, I still prefer the movie that can amuse and entertain me.

Admittedly, the serious movie is a good narrator of the history, the life and the world. Take the movie Hurt Locker, which got the Best Picture and Best Director in the Oscar, for example, the movie tells about a group of bomb disposal experts who were sent to Baghdad. The plot and the scenes in the movie are really similar to the war between America and Iraq. It reminds people that how cruel the war is. So the movie leaves people a deep impression and a deep thought about the war. However, apart from the people who actually experienced the war and history, the content of the movie is far away from the people life. Therefore, many people do not want to see it, even if the movie is indeed perfect.
After it got the big prize of Oscar, I asked every friend of mine if they had seen the movie before. No matter she or he was in China or the United States, they told me that they had never seen the movie and would not go to see it yet. They said they would rather see the comedy, fairy tale, and love movie.

Why these happen? Just because people have suffered from the heavy pressure of life, work, and study, and most of us see the movie to relax ourselves, instead of thinking more/hard thinking. For this reason, people go to see the movie that can amuse and entertain ourselves. For instance, Avatar, notwithstanding it did not get the top prize of Oscar, is welcomed by the people all around the world. It tells a beautiful love story and the scenes of it are also fascinating. In the movie, we enjoy the love story and the moving plot. It’s so wonderful to see a movie like that. These movies include Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Twilight, Camp Rock and so forth.

Students at university or in college should choose the most difficult classes even if they cannot get top grades (marks) in them.

When making decision about which kind of class to choose, some people think the students at university or in college should choose the difficult classes they cannot do well. As far as I’m concerned, I still hold the opinion that the students should attend the class they can master well.

First, choosing a class the students could get high marks will improve their confidence. Then they will work harder than before and get more achievement and make a breakthrough. Even they will try to challenge something they have not done before to prove their ability. Taking learning English for example, a friend of mine who major in English always gets high score in the English test, she feels confident and satisfied. In order to challenge herself, she attended an English Speech Context. Finally, she got the first prize, and proved herself perfectly. Therefore, learning a class that easy to grasp is really important.


What’s more, getting high marks is not only helpful to improve confidence, but also could increase the opportunity for graduates to get a better job. In modern society, although the companies pay attention to the job experience of the graduates, they still attach importance to the grades the students got at university or in college as before. For instance, there are two excellent students competing for a position in a company. Both of them are experienced, but one of them has good marks on the resume, the other has a little poor scores. Maybe the latter has chosen the most difficult classes in college, so he did not get pretty marks. The company ultimately might choose the high marks students. Thus, choosing the most difficult classes is indeed a nice option?

However, to the students who have talent for studying difficult things, sometimes they may think the easy class is boring, so learning the most difficult class as an optional course is also feasible. They can improve and prove their value by challenge every difficulty in the class.

All in all, not every student at university or at college is genius; not every student could face the low grades optimistically; not every student want to do hard work. So it’s not a good advisement for students to choose the hardest classes at university or at college.

Most people prefer having other people make decisions for them rather than making decisions by themselves。
Some people would like to make decision by themselves, but others prefer having other people make decision for them. Which is better for us? As far as I’m concerned, I definitely agree with the latter.

To begin with, facing a problem, if we turn to other people for help, we can solve the problem quickly and efficiently. Different people, especial those who has various and affluent experience, is really a good guide. Maybe the problem you faced now, they had met with before. So you can get best answer from them. For example, a student who is graduating from a high school, wants to keep going to study in university. But the problem is, concerned with his or her future job, he or she cannot decide which school to attend and which subject to major. At this moment, he or she asks family members, friends or teachers to make the decision, the best choice coming.

What’s more, during the course of asking other people to make decision, we can get new knowledge and information we do not have before and by talking with others, we will think more about the problem or situation. In addition, while asking about the decision, we can learn how to communicate with others. Maybe you are not satisfied with the decision others made, you will refuse it, this time the way you used is very important. If you are rude, the next time, other will not give you any instruction at all.

However, not every decision made by others is perfect. Sometimes people should make the decision by themselves. Take Bill Gates for example, when he still in Harvard, he decided to stop schooling to start his own business. If he asked for others’ decision, maybe there is no “yes” for his determination, the Microsoft would never appear in the world.

Despite sometimes making decision alone will generate a significant result, I still support the opinion that we should ask for other people to make decision by us.
