我想本科临床读完后直接出去读基础,就是做研究,5年那种读完是PHD,想请问这种学费是多少,大概每年多少费用?有奖学金吗,好申请不?他需要托福,GRE的成绩是多少呢?万分感谢,急需帮助!!!!

Basic Biomedical/Biology PhD, almost all full scholarship, do not need to prepare much money.
It is not easy to apply, maybe one of the hardest, which is because of the high quality and quantity of the applicants with advanced degree and strong research background, especially for bachelor of medicine students. TOFLE does not need to be too high, OK score should be enough. GRE > 1300 should be enough. THe most important thing is GPA and research background.

还好了，没有那么难的。如果gpa可以，再找点科研机会来点文章的话，50-100的学校没问题。

1st author paper is not that easy for a clinical medicine undergraduate student already, too busy no much time, if want a nice GPA. If apply for biomedical science, it is hard. If for biology and biochemistry, it will be easier. Do not ever take light of 50-100 2nd tier Universities, those ones with medical schools are always filled with hundreds of applications every year. Good GPA is very important.

We can check sbout how many Gters get Ph.D offers from Biomedical Sciences programs in medical school for recent 3 years. Most successful guys in tier 2 Universities are not from Clinical medicine or already with a master degree to get enough research background. Gters may not count for most of Chinese applicants, but from so far we can see, it is not a big number.

I say it is hard not because of offer number actually, I say this because of the high quality needed, for quite some guys, have to get a master degree and good paper for a nice offer, which means additional effort and time. But, hard does never mean impposible, actually it is quite possible if one prepare well enough. It just means that we need to work harder than the others. Th er are still holly a lot of positions. I always hope more Chinese come here. Prepare earlier for everything, there will be a big chance.

And all the above did not include good luck. With good luck, everything will be easier, hehe.
