In the modern society, more and more school hold sports game for students which aim to cultivate student ability how to face the competition or contests. Some people disagree with this method to teach children, and they think that children should only play sports for fun, not in competition or contests; however, I totally contradict this point. I believe that children in the competition or contests will learn how to face the competition, how to win, and how to accept lose in the competition.
First of all, as a player, children should prepare to accept and face the competition. As we know, a result of game is win or defeat. Everyone want to win the game, so it is the point that how to face the competition. It is most important that children should have a good mentality. For example, my neighbor, an eight years old boy, is very shame. He cannot play well in the competition because he feels tension when all of the spectators look on him. Moreover his coach finds what wrong with him, and try to help him before the finals of football game. Nevertheless, under the coach and doctor’s help, he is overcome the problem. As the result, he can stay at the court as a player. Form the experience of this boy, it is convincing that competition can help people to find their disadvantages. All in all they have learned how to face the game.
In addition, children who playing sports in competition or contest is order to win the game. The competition will teach them how to win. It is undeniable that no one wants to become the loser in the competition. So children should take more practice and work on their study or game area. Thus children possessing a clearly purpose is good for them not only at the game but also in the future. I believe that one have a purpose and one hardly to achieve the goal is benefit to their life.
Finally, it is universally acknowledged that as result of game have two roles, a winner and a loser. As a loser, he must to learn how to accept the result. No one care about who is win or defeat, definitely people want to share a wonderful game, so the competition of the opponent is full of meaning and interest. Through the game, children could learn how to accept the role of loser, and they will get the experience of this game, and they will hard working for the next game. They never give up and the final success will come right after the last try.
Admittedly, competition can teach children to face the competition, how to win and to accept the role of loser. So the children should play sports in competition and contest.

    In the modern society, a larger number of people leave their city to work or make their dream come true. In this case, some people believe that parents are close to their children as same as 50 years ago. Nevertheless, I do not agree with this point, I think that parents do not understand their children so well as parents did 50 years ago.
    First of all, nowadays, parents are not live together with their children. But in the past time, most parents and children are lives together. Almost family is live in the big house, and each of them can face to face every day, because they live together. However, now the children are grow to enough to get to university, so children will leave home and live with their roommates. After they graduate, they always built a small family with their wife and children. In this case, they have limit time with their parents and it will make parents and their children not so close.
    In addition, in this society TV program and computer affect the people communicate to each other, so parents do not understand their children. For instance, many families are live together, but members are not taking to each other. Because they are busy to watch the television programs, or busy to surf on the internet. Although they are living together, but the parents and children are lacks of communication with each other. But in the 50 year ago, there are no TV and computer, parents and children can talk to their experience and other interest things. All in all, in this case, parents do not understand their children so well as parents did 50 years ago.
    Finally, it is undeniable that generation gap between parents and children is becomes wider and wider with the speed up development of society and technology. Therefore parents cannot understand their children such behaviors as children wear odd clothes, speak strange things. However, in 50 years ago, parents can understand their children fair well, because they have common words and same topic. It is convincing that parents are not close to their children.
    In conclusion, people now do not understand children so well as they did 50 years ago. Because they are not live together like as 50 years ago, and they always watch TV or play computer, so they are lack of communication with each other, and the wider generation gap is also a big problem.

我觉得楼主可以将finally中的问题作为第一个，用更多的文字描述。个人觉得住不住在一起不是最主要的理由，比如，过去的50年，孩子也要读大学啊，也要和父母分离啊。而最后一个理由却更加具有说服力度。
整个文章的逻辑结构，思路都很好。就是小错误（时态，单复数，but和although）不少，另外强烈建议楼主查查live的用法。楼主加油啊！！！

我觉得吧，前两点观点可以佐证你的观点的，但是第三点嘛，我觉得代沟越来越大其实和没有以前了解孩子说的是一个事，就是觉得你只是列了些表现而已，而不是论证为咩没有以前了解孩子了。

A large number people think that as a true patriot, we should buy things made in our own country; even the price is higher than same things made somewhere else. However, I totally disagree with this point, thus I believe that people buy things base on other reasons such as their interest, the price of commodity, and the reasons of production itself.
First of all, people choice things that they like it and feel it very interesting. Base on the personal affection, people buy things and collect them. Take my experience for example, when I travel, I always take a lot of electron products such as MP3, camera, or mobile phone. One day I know about a kind of mobile phone from newspapers’ advertisement and I like it very much. This kind of mobile phone has such function as calling, sending and receiving messages, playing music as mp3, taking photos as camera and even suffering on the internet as computer. Next day I brought it, and I did not care about which country made it, and I just appreciate it. The affection of production is very important factor for us to determine which commodity we should buy.
    In addition, it is undeniable that not everyone is richer, so we should consider the price of production and decide to buy it. If two productions have a same function and one of them possess low price, we should buy the cheap one. But if you choice to buy the expensive one, you must be waste of money. For instance, one day I need a music player and I find two kinds of player with same function. When I chose to buy it, I will buy which is cheaper. Now I am a student and I do not have a job, so I cannot earn money by myself, eventually I have to decide to buy the cheaper one. For the experience of my, it is convicting that people should consider the price of commodity when they go shopping.

    Finally, some production only made by one country, thus we have one choice. For example, Ipod Classic, one of the music player, is only made by the company of Apple in America. If you want to buy this kind music player, you have to buy Ipod Classic without any choice.
