4.16 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The government should invest more money in sports rather than in arts.

With the remarkable revolution of the modern society, sports which are gradually become common to every ordinary person draw more attention than any other times. While some people hold that our government should invest more capital in the sports than in arts. As far as I see, it is hard to tell only one sides of a story about the atrs and sports.
The reasons are following.

To beginning with, sports are indispensable for our society not only for it can provide an environment for people from different countries of the world to communicate each other but also can present every people who do a sport a healthy fitness. Firstly, sports, as
common activities, attracting more and more people to join in to pursue a more beautiful figure and a better health. According a data which you can search from some famous web sites, people who usually take a sports activity have a lower rate to get cancer and other diseases. For another, as the development of the movement of the modern Olympic Games, make not only the individuals but also the governments begin to focus on the sports. Therefore, the modern sports do not only means the function of improving people's fitness, more important, it can do a big favor to help the countries to communicate each other.

What is more, as a half part of the civilization of the human society, the importance of arts can never be ignored. With the guide of art, more other things can be ignited. For example, as the inspiring of the art Albert Einstein could leisure himself to make a great achievement in the science. Also with the advancement of arts, more job opportunities are created for the society. In the end, arts are also necessary for us.

Last but not least, both art and sports can live without each other. In one hand, sports usually be express by the form of art. For the Olympic Games as an example, there are many elements of the art you can find in the Olympic Games. The flag of the modern Olympic Games is a five circles design, which stands the unit of the world.
For the other hand, arts are also live without sports. Many motivations of art are base on the old sports.

In the final analysis, we should treat differently with arts and sports because we cannot say which of them is more significant for us.
