Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: teachers should be paid according to how well their students perform.~~呼呼~~为嘛每次都会写到差不多400个词!有没有XDJM们可以给个建议!

For a long time, people have been searching for an effective and comparably fair way to compensate teachers so that they would devote themselves to enhancing the quality of teaching and fulfilling their responsibility as gardener of human’s wisdom. Some propose that paying teachers according to how well their students perform may be a good idea. Despite some disagreements, I am in favor of this suggestion for several reasons.
First and for most, payment consisting with the performance the students make can serve as an incentive as well as a guidline for teachers. This kind of compensation will lead teachers’ attention to figuring out what effort they should make to get students more willing to perform well and what sort of tactics should be applied to teaching so as to make students more easily grasp all the knowlege. On the other hand, those teachers who devote most of their time and energy in better nuturing students can get the share they deserve. Vise versa, student will eventually benefit from this way.
However, some opponents may argue that it is unfair to evaluate a teacher’s capability by looking to the performance of his/her students because some students’ intelligence may be subordinated to others. I would like to rebut this standpoint by quoting a famous person’s saying: there exist no stupid students but only inadequet teachers. Students are greatly influenced by their teachers. According to a research, most students would feel happy if they get a positive feedback from their teacher on their performance. On the other word, if properly conducted, students would like to perform well.
Some people also suggest that there are better ways to pay teachers for their work, such as paying on the basis of the appraisal from students. As a matter of fact, we should take people’s intrinscic traiters into consideration—that is people’s proclivity to laziness. Many students would hail for those teachers who are not so strict yet will grant high score. Imaging teachers are estimated totally by students’ opinion, then there’s little doubt that most of the teachers have to submit to their students who concern much with their salary.

用词丰富,句式富于变化。稍微注意一下用法的地道就更好了。很多词和句式结构都是在下意识地翻译。 加油~~O(∩_∩)O~

是应该放更多的钱在access internet 上,而不是public transportation 同意还是不要?

Since the popularization of computer has ushered the arrival of Internet Age, never before has people’s life connected more closely to the Internet. Consequently, many people propose that government should plough more money into the construction of more accessible Internet instead of wasting money in the construction of public transportation. They believe when most people can use Internet to satisfy their needs in life, the disappearance of traffic jam will be out of question. However, I stick to the opposite standpoint that the function of public transportation cannot be replaced by internet and government should spend more money in improving public transportation.
Firstly, not every one is able to or prefers to use internet to do what they want to do in life. Internet has a fatal weakness that people can benefit from internet on the condition that they have computer at hand and are able to use it. For example, many old people don’t know how to use a computer and their faculty of seeing is not as good. In this case, an accessible internet does little help to make their life more convenient. Some other people from lower strata of society cannot afford a computer and hence a convenient and low-cost public transportation system strikes them as more pragmatic. According to surveys, the majority of the constant internet-users are people aged from 14 to 35, who don’t cover the majority of a nation’s population.
Secondly, it is impossible for people to resolve all the problems through internet. No one would tolerate a birthday party hold on internet; doctors cannot perform operation by clicking the little mouse; women cannot really put on a dress to see whether it fits themselves by looking into an e-shop and forth so on.
Finally, it is widely acknowledged that the boom of economy in one area has to rely greatly on its public transportation system. All the goods has to be delivered through trains, ships, vans, airplane, you name it. Investors will not make a rash decision before they inspect in the flesh the operation of a company or the edges of equipments applied in a factory.
For all the reasons above, I insist government should pay more attention on public transportation construction than on the establishment of easy internet access.

Since the popularization of computer has usheredthe arrival of Internet Age, never before has people’s life connected moreclosely to the Internet. Consequently, many people propose thatgovernment should plough more money into the construction of moreaccessible Internet instead of wasting money in the construction of publictransportation. They believe when most people can use Internet to satisfy theirneeds in life, the disappearance of traffic jam will be out of question.(歧义了吧,交通堵塞的消失不成问题了?disappearance去掉)However, I stick to the opposite standpoint that the function of publictransportation cannot be replaced by internet and government should spend moremoney in->on improving publictransportation.
Firstly, not everyone is able to or prefersto use internet to do what they want to do in life. Internet has a fatalweakness that people can benefit from internet->it,on the condition that->only when theyhave computer at hand and are able to use it. For example, many old peopledon’t know how to use a computer and their faculty of seeing->eyesight (or vision) is not as good. In this case, anaccessible internet does little help to make their life more convenient. Someother people from lower strata of society cannot afford a computer and hence aconvenient and low-cost public transportation system strikes (我孤陋寡闻,没见过,觉得好像不合适?)them as more pragmatic. According to surveys, the majority of theconstant internet-users are people aged from 14 to 35, who don’t cover themajority of a nation’s population.

Secondly, it is impossible for people toresolve all the problems through internet. Finally, it is widely acknowledged that theboom of economy in one area has to rely (我觉得用被动语态更合适)greatly on its public transportation system. All the goods has to bedelivered through trains, ships, vans, airplane, you name it. Investors willnot make a rash decision before they inspect in the flesh the operation of a company or the edges of equipments applied in afactory.(没大看明白呢~~囧)

For all the reasons above, I insist governmentshould pay more attention on public transportation construction than on theestablishment of easy internet access.

Both television and telephone are regarded as great invention in recent 100 years. But disagreement exists on the judgement that which tool, television or telephone has more crucial effects on people’s life. As far as I am concerned, telephone has penetrated into people’s life to a greater extent.
To begin with, it is a prevailling truth that modern people cannot live without telephones. Thanks to mobile phone, the barriers of space and time would no longer a problem any more in the communication between people. People can use telephone to confirm an interview, to send blessings to friends and relatives, even US president obama and Chinese chairman Hu hold a conference on phone to consult on some national issues. When Yushu earthquake took place, all the telecommunication facilities were demolished and no phone call or message could be made in earthquake zone. A sense of panic aspersed over the country. So one of the priorities of reconstruction is to restore the telecommunication facilities.
Furthermore, owing to the genius technology combination of internet and mobile phone, telephone is exerting an ever larger influence on people’s life and even overtaking many functions television once boasted of. Nowadays, people can use a mobile phone to watch TV series or listen to music on internet. Virtually all the tasks entailed by television can be accomplished by a small phoneset which is more portable and economical.
Finally, the cooperation between telephone and some traditional multimedia tools enables telephone to exert its influence even in the field of economy and politics. In economy, a novel form of products, such as e-magazine and phone newspaper, have been created, attracting many advertisers’ intense attention. Regarding politics, the successful election campaign carried out by Obama’s team could be a best example. Supporters used short message to promote Obama’s conviction and standpoints and they also used mobile phone to donate money to the campaign. In a word, television confined by its fixed location and disability in processing information is going to lose advantage comparing with telephone.

(maybe you can write some obvious advantages of TV to make this article more convincing.)
