most students graduated from university have good jobs in China. Most students who go to America to pursue graduate study are engineers or teachers. Although I'm an assistant engineer in China ,I think a person should struggle in all his life, not just satisfy with the present status. The goal of a person is to pursue a higher position, to pursue more knowledge. The reason I go to study is just because America is
in the lead in technology. I want to absorb the latest and advanced knowledge. Turning down my application because I have a Good job in China will block Chinese students to realize their academic goals. It's also not in accordance with American values.
China needs highly trained professionals in this field. And as you know, China's development is very fast in recent years, this supplies an expanding job market. After I complete my study in America ,I can definitely find a good job in China and contribute what I have learned to my motherland. I will not work as a little employee for an American boss.
going to America to pursue a Master’s degree is only a most glorious way to spend my money to buy in a more lucrative future back to China where I had made my first bucket of gold.
Going to the US for an advanced study is an important step for me to further promote myself professionally back in China, not a step to abandon my great job and family in China.
I would not throw away everything that I have obtained and am proud of to plunge myself into chaotic future by illegally staying in the United States after my Master's program. The United States is always the greatest country that I admire, however, when it comes to career development and personal fortune, my hope is in China. With this American Master's degree in hand, my future in China will be much more greater !
Having worked for an American company, Mellon Central Air Conditioning Co. of its China venture for more than two years as the first marketing assistant to the Director of Marketing Department, I have not only achieved great experience in American style marketing and sales, but also accumulated enough money to be invested into a valued American MBA. Money is not a problem for me but an MBA is critical to my better life in China a few years later. It is this company from the United States who has given me strong experience of business and sufficient financial rewards, an MBA from an American school is a logical decoration to my already fulfilling career. I would be very much appreciate it if you grant me a visa to realize this dream of mine, a dream I can financially afford, professionally deserve.
China is really a massive market! But the experienced people are in bad shortage. It has a even worse shortage for those who not only knows about the technology but also understands American way of doing business.
Without American experience, my father has been sought after by those US companies. When I receive my American MBA, I guess there must be a bidding war for me between those who are planning to enter Chinese market! This is a brilliant future in that I will be guaranteed a six figure salary and for that I have started longing even without leaving China yet!)
As a computer specialist in Beijing, I was offered a job several times by such big US companies as IBM and Microsoft. I can easily get a position in any major international computer corporation and make a very good salary (it’s very common for many of my college pals to make more than 8,000 RMB a month).
The reason that I did not take any job outside of ABC University’s Computer Center for higher pay is just because of two things.
I had a contract with ABC University that effected for five years. I did not want to breach this contract. I want to start my career in China’s computer industry at a higher level by obtaining an advanced degree from the United States, the world’s leading force in computer production and research. Please think that if a computer professional can make that much money now working for an international computer company in Beijing, how much money I could possibly earn after returning from America with a shining Master’s degree! And please think that how much privilege I would have at that time in my own country in addition to the money I could make?
Every major computer company in YOUR country, the United States of America, is coming to China by large scale. Their operation is expanding, their investment is going up and their market share is growing in my country. I would be stupid not coming back to cut a piece of China’s computer cake after I receive a much cherished Master’s degree from America. For money, for career, and for social status, I will be choosing nowhere but my homeland, China.
The program will guarantee my greatest possible potential in my field of business. No investment is better than the investment into one's education, particularly when it comes to University of Pennsylvania and when it comes to such a distinguished program! The money for the school is BIG, but the value of the program is BIGGER!
My experience in my field and the prestigious from the U. of Penn background will guarantee my goal. I could afford the $38,000 dollars even though it is a big pressure to me and to my family. However, if $38,000 can guarantee you a great future, a future with million dollars, would you go ahead to invest on it ? YOU WOULD. I WOULD.
Having worked as the division manager (supervising 30 people) in China National & International Transportation Corporation (CNTRANS), China's largest transportation company, I feel that an American degree will be a golden finger to my rich experience. And I WILL be successful to develop my own business back in China with a Degree from U of Penn. That is the only reason why I would spend so much money for this program. $38,000 is a big money to me and to my family, however, compare with the money future after the degree this investment is only a small down payment! Rich or poor, I do can afford it and I do want to invest it! Why I bother to make so much effort for the whole thing? As a division manager at CNTRANS, I am making a very good living here and enjoying my own apartment, car privilege and many other corporate benefits. I have a beautiful family and my husband works in the same company and his status in the company is even higher than mine. Our life in China is very good it will be better particularly when I finish my U. of Penn's unique program and return to China. Combining what I will have learned from the U of Penn's program with my business contacts and experiences I have accumulated at SINOTRANS, my career will take a great leap forward in the transportation industry that I have committed six years of my youth. The program that will cost me $38,000 at the University of Pennsylvania will give me a competitive advantage that nobody else in China can possibly match.
正确的回答应该是类似这样:“Yes,I AM happily married with (or without) one child; My wife is very beautiful!”(是的,我是幸福的婚姻中人,有一个孩子。
My husband is a college sweet heart of mine and a successful xxx himself.
不能仅仅简单回答Yes or No。
We have money, fame, job satisfaction, a very good life in Beijing, and best of all, a great expectation in China where we have had proven success during the last few years of Chinese economic boom. The United States in a land that we admire and are fascinated in, however, never ever in our minds had flashed a thought that we will abandon our great future in China where a new wave of golden opportunity is waiting for us to surf. I have to admit, though, in my dream I do want to have an American multiple entrance visa so I can easily travel to your country for business or for pleasure in the future and so to avoid the humiliation of being rejected again. |
