HKU的话这批差不多也是5个人的面试团。和中大不同的是,HKU先做笔试,然后再面试。至于笔试占了多大比重,或者之后想收你的教授还看不看我就不清楚了。笔试题不是很难,反正我当时笔试做得感觉非常好,5道大题都扫完了,时间还有得多。交卷时非常有自信。于是把自信带到面试里去了,而且这是第二次全英文面试了,有了经验,所以完全非常沉着。于是面的很好,于是我在所有人面完之后很贱的想去套套看负责人有没有车贴(CHUK是有很高的车贴的),结果负责人跟我讲我面的很好,亲切的和我握手,说尽快帮我联系我方向的导师(没有在面试团里),由导师再进行Skype的面试。插曲是,我另一个同学也是申请的这批,他没有去face to face的面试,他的方向的导师直接电话面他的。然后他直接被录取的MPhil,所以他告诉我虽然这批是PhD的项目,但是MPhil也可以的,于是我在Skype面试的时候又很贱的问能不能申Mphil的,结果那个导师只想收PhD的,我就悲剧了。。这里我想说的是,个人感觉hk这边的学校确实MPhil比PhD难申。据说因为很多MPhil都是拿hk当跳板,之后去米国读书的。所以MPhil的两年不好好搞研究,就是整天准备英文考试&申请之类的,所以导致老板都很光火。虽然我其实只是觉得研究生比博士好找工作而已-,-P。后话是:我某个很牛b的同学说他在XX会议上碰到Skype面我的导师,对方说是挺想收我,但感觉我不想跟她。我还以为她不想收我了,于是转而去套另一个HKU的导师(当时在面试团里面的一个)。她还推荐了我一把。可见HK的教授们人都是灰常好的;)
