TOPIC:telephone has greater influence on people’s lives than television


Nowaday,when it comes to the objects that have great influence on our modern society,telephone and television may come up to people’s minds.Some people who think televison has greater influence state that television has given us more chances to get comprehensive information from the world.Others who support an converse point propose that telephone has changed the way people communicate virtually and in some aspects improve relationships between people.It hard to say which point is wrong,but personally,I side with the latter and I will reason it and give concrete evidence to support my view as follows.
The first plain truth I am presenting here is that telephone has substancially changed the way people to communicate,which may be the most important part of human society and also bring a lot of benefits.In the ancient society when people did not have any instument like telephone,it was hard for people to send messages from one place to another for they could only make use of their throats.Because of the inconvenience of communication,people were infront of many difficulties.For example,when emergence happened like pouring rain,people could not told others to pick hime up.But because of the invention of telephone,changes has come to the world.When you are willing to talk with your parents oversea,you can simply use your phone wihout stepping outside;when you have to talk about your business with your partner who is not around,you can simply use your telephone.The invention of telephone has thoroughly changed the way people live and brought high efficiency to the world.Just as a famous socialogist says that telephone is the sign of a new era.
Furthermore,behind my preference lies an equally important fact that mordern telephone can also has the function for watching videoes and reading news,but television still does not have the function of communication.Many years ago,a few times after the invention of telephone,people had already add a new function about reading news to telephone.At present,an even more advanced new telephone has already been invented.This kind of telephone not only has all the functions which are owned by its ”ancestors”,but also has a new function which can help people see each other while they are communicating.This new function help people largely improve the relationship between family members.Furthermore,as the time pass by,the volume of telephone become smaller and smaller.People can put their telephones at any place they like.But all of these above can not be matched with television.Can you ever use a television to communicate with others?
From what we have discussed above,we can easily draw a conclusion that telephone has greater influence on people’s lives.
