Teachers should not make their social or political view known to students, do you agree or not, explain why.（09.03.27）

I fundamentally disagree with the assertion of the speaker. Admittedly, both society and politics are considerably essential for human being, with great influence on each person's life. Therefore, every student should initiatively participate in the discussion over society and politics. According to making their social or political view known to students, teachers can give a opportunity for all students to perceive and discuss social problem closely related to them, However, as guide teacher can not go a extreme position ,even instigate students for their own political appeal.

The main reason for disagreement with the speaker is that the teachers can to some extent arouse the interest of students for our societal affairs by making their own view about politics or society. It is well-known that the development of society mainly drive by the masses rather than politicians. However, Some people do not concern about our society at all, as if he/she is not one of members or participants of our society. Aslo, they is indifferent about politics, and never consider which elected parties or leaders much more benefit the people of our country. On the contrary, some people actively take part in public affairs, contribute their time and energy to serving for the public , advising to government ,and urge political reform for public interest. How could our society prosper and advance if not a large number of enthusiastic parcicipant of public affairs.I believe large numbers of active social participant could emerge through teachers sharing their social view with students.

The another reason why I essentially disagree with the speaker is that teachers's social or political view maybe inspire the political passion and democratic consciousness for students, consequently could establish a thought foundation for future democratic country. In many authoritarian regimes, the democracy do not exist in many person's mind. Yet, according to the teacher with the view of democracy or opening, the democracy activity can spark and sprout, and grow up. In fact, in many democratic country, teacher often play a important role in democratic process.

Last but not least, to the extent which the teacher have extreme view toward our society, I agree with the assertion of the speaker. For example, what if a teacher advocate naziism in class, or if a teacher advocate the subversion to democratic government? Therefore ,we must alert the extreme advocators within teachers to peddle their harmful thought when we allow teacher publicize their social or political view.

In the final analysis, we should allow the dissemination of teacher's social or political opinion to students, meanwhile, we must be watchful for the sort of teachers with extreme view toward our society.
