138. "Only through mistakes can there be discovery or progress."
I strongly agree with the point that discovery or progress should be only rooted in mistakes.(再充实一下)
There goes a proverb failure is the mother of success. Where there is no mother, there can’t be any baby. Anyone who dreams to achieve success can’t go without knowledge, and if you want to obtain the knowledge, the book is dispensable. It is widely accepted that most knowledge derived from books. Those on books are lessons learned from the older generation after they failed again and again. In other words, nearly (ever)thing we need for future success comes from the older (貌似不太地道哦,previous)generations’ mistakes.(论证不太充分)
Obviously, we can’t receive(acquire) everything through books(other’ mistakes), otherwise, people would make fewer mistakes. Thus, the other way they(to) enrich their experience is to try. as many times as they can, learned from mistakes and then succeed(through learning from their own mistakes can they succeed)Long ago, an experiment was conducted about putting a earthworm into maze, which may cause an electric shock if the earthworm can’t find the right way.(electric shock would be triggered if the earthworm touched the wall) After experiencing trials over and over again, the earthworm finally went (got) the right way. This shows if there’s no (without) thousands times of failures, there won’t be any progress and same “mistakes and discovery” logic is followed in the improvement of humans(前后不连贯). By going through the life full of frustrations (frustrations of life), people are just able to pursue their goals in the right way. For example, the famous scientist Thomas Edison who had invented light bulb had been trying more than a thousand times, using more than eight hundred materials before he achieved the progress, that is to say, even the great person has experienced too many mistakes, let alone we common people.(看了几个人,都是举的这哥们)
Admittedly, a few people with good luck can get progress without rough life, which seems to be contrary to the view. However, we ignore that their achievement are depending(also depends) on other’s failure. What’s more, temporary progress doesn’t represent the last-long success, he will pay the price for the unstable result based on only good luck (sooner or later). (举个例子看看,空洞的描述没有说服力)
To draw a conclusion, the discovery and progress can be achieved only through mistakes, not everything proceeds smoothly without a hitch.
(结尾也好少啊)
总结一下:字太少了,感觉不太充实
有些地方论证时思路有点乱,多看看别人的习作。
加油!
