如果政府官员没有自己的主见，那么他们的权威性和能力就会受到质疑
另一方面，有自己的主见并不意味着抛开人们的意见不管。人们的意见也很重要


Should governmentofficials rely on their own judgment or unquestioningly carrying out the willof the people whom they serve? In my opinion I believe that both factors shouldbe associated together.

The government officialshould have their own judgment, because, sometimes, not all political decisionscan cater for all civilians’ need. In terms of ecological problems, some bigcompanies’ managers due to pursue higher profit and cheaper natural resources,may flight against to set up the environmental lows and the increase ofcharging tax from environmental issues, while most of citizen in urban tend tosupport such lows on the ground that they should not develop the economy at theexpense of the ecosystem and their rights to enjoy fresh air and comfortablepace of live should not be deprived. In this case, provide that government officialunquestioningly carry out the will of the people whom they serve, the developmentof society will, unfortunately, stop, for they can not decide whose will theyshould obey; therefore, the government official would be well-advised to ray ontheir judgment.

If the governmentofficials lack their own judgment, the question voice of their capacity andauthority will ensue. Civilians vote the government which enables them to abetter life rather than a hesitant one. The government officials should utilizetheir authority to guide the public. Their decisions and judgments usually playa key role in the development of the country, for they can fulfill thepotential of the national resources and facilities; therefore, making their ownjudgment decisively will consolidate their status among the public.

On the other hand,relying on their judgment does not mean that the government official left theirpeople’s will alone. Since people are a main factor that constitutes ourcountry, their will is an indispensable part to influence the governmentofficials’ judgments, otherwise, without the public’s voice their judgments cannot benefit the public. Even more, if the government fails to deal with thedifferent opinion among the public, tension and conflict might be brought aboutto the society. Provide that the government official draw on the public’s will,their decisions and judgments will be the best interest of the public and canlead a welcome atmosphere of society. The harmony keeps society safe and stablewhile clashes make country unavailable; therefore, the public will can not beneglect.

To sum up, neitheronly relaying on the government official judgments nor merely carrying out thewill of the people whom they serve can contribute the development of society. Thetwo factors must be associated that the government can gain the best resultsand fulfill a great achievement.
