136. "The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare."
I fundamentally agree with the assertion that we can make decisions from various choices when we face the problem and the circumstance of no choice, though happening sometimes, is very, very rare.

Firstly, the quantity of choices depends on people’s points of view or their methods dealing with the problems. Human beings, since occupied the first class in the biosphere, has been famous for their intellect to find various solutions. If we can make full use of our wisdom, there must be many choices. For example, the most common thing we face everyday is to eat, once upon a time, we haven’t had many choices to improve the taste of food. Yet, in order to meet our need for eating, our ancient developed a new way, which seems like roasting, through the natural fire. This inspires descendants’ creativities, later generations developed various methods of cooking to enrich their choices. This explains how we improving: develop more choices and build up via choosing the best.

Secondly, nowadays, the system of society has been established more flexible. If you fall, you will be given more room for maneuver and allowed to get up to try it again. This offers you more choices undeniably. Once you fail to be a good police, you can pursue the post of public security. If you don’t pass the examination for entering college, you can choose a technical school. That is to say, the society will provide more chances, despite you can’t make it yourself, to have your choices abundant.

Admittedly, when it comes to the crucial problem which is referred to the social responsibility or something simply judged by right or wrong, there won’t be any hesitation, what we should do is to maintain the justices and perform our responsibility. However, it doesn’t mean we have no choices. A case to this point is that when we encounter the robbery with the criminal having dagger, it’s our duty to help the victim and stop the crime, however, we have many choices to help rather than simply rushing to fight with criminal. If you have strong belief in your big physique, you can fight, because it’s the fastest way to stop the criminal. If you are not good in fighting, you should choose to call the police in order to avoid hurting yourself. You can even cry out to scare the criminal in that they are equally nervous when doing robbing.

To draw a conclusion, though people would face many circumstances without choices, I still hold on the idea that everybody can put up with rational solutions and the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare.
