    我9号1000。美男处被放水。但是由于电脑的故障，我今天又去了一次，才拿到visa。

    签证的过程就是被放水。由于下雨，到的比较晚。已经叫到130多号了。我是42号。然后
交材料，拿了红色
card，排队。被分到了7号窗口，大tt（sorry）一队。心情立刻紧张。签了三个，全
部据。这时候，6号的美男把我叫了过去。美男一看就面善，心情立刻放松了许多。

M(Me): Nice to meet you, sir. Here is my card.
V(vo):你好！So you will go to U of Michigan?
M:Yes
V:Your major is Biostatistics, What is it?
M:Well, biostatistics concerns mainly about applying mathematical and statis
tical methods
into the medical problems.  For example, it has many application in the rese
arch of
Epidemiology.  You know, in struggling  with SARS, biostatistics is an impor
tant tool.  We
can use it to build the model and predict the dispersion currency.  So biost
aitistics is
very useful.
V:......
M:pardon?
V:......
M:Sorry.
V:.........大概意思就是你是master，毕业之后有什么打算。
M:I will continue to pursue the doctor degree.  I am an undergraduate. Becau
se the
department of the rule, I can not be admitted by doctor programm directly. S
o I should
finish my master programm first.
V:Well, you are undergraduate student, what is your major.
M:Mathematics.
V:Oh. After getting doctor degree, what is your plan?
M:I will come back to China and go to work in a medical research institution
or a medical
company.  I will focus on applying biostatistics into the research of epidem
iology.
Biostatistical talents will be in great demond in China in the near future.
V: Why？
M:After struggling with the SARS, Chinese govenment realizes the importance
  to improve the
  research level of epidemiology. And one of the most neccesary improvments is
  to use more and
  more mathematical and statistical methods instead of pure experience.  
  And biostatistics just meet this requirement..(Be interrupted)
V:So you want to work in govenment?
M:No, I will be a researcher.
V:.....
M:Pardon?
V:.....
M:Sorry.
V:.......Have you discussed your work with some .....?
M:I have contacted with some institution and company.  List the names, no SL
s.
V:Give me your transcript. Your university is very good, but I can not issue
you the visa
today.
M:Why?
V:Because the computer.....
M:Can you solve the problem?
V:No. You can come tomorrow.

于是今天又何mastermax一起去了一趟。

总之，是被放水过的。整个过程没有什么刁难，vo也一直听我讲的东西。
