in this era of ever increasing trend of science and technology, new problems booms up, most of which can not be solved by the former laws or legal systems immediately, and even defies traditional moral principle.
it is noticeablethere is a lot of new problems rising up now, which people never have imagined of. it really challeged the traditional rules, morally or legally. to name a few, the Internet addition, which are developping in an overwhelming trend because of the now easy access to Internet, has become a major concern. in the old age, when there is no such thing like computers or Internet, not a single mother would be worried about their children's addiction to a virtual world. not after a growing number of families got the computer and have them connected to the Internet that the phenomena had been noticed, and be brought up to the table. there is no even remotely relating treatment, no laws and even no all-accepted moral judgement. when new things first appear, there is nothing people can do with it until some meaningful reaction is made.
even if people finally have learned the whole thing, there is possibility that it can not be solved by laws and the legal system and even moral principles in a quite long term. it is easily seen in the example of clones. the heating debate of whether people should continue the research of clone people seems to have no end. scientists hold that it is meaningful and have many pratical usages such as used in medical trial
or organ transfer, the public still can not accept it because of the ID of the clone people is disturbing and
in the view of the moral issues as well.
but we human beings will not be hold back by the emerging problems. while a few of them may still remain tough, most of them can be settled as the history proseeds. just take a look at the problem of the satus of the females. not long ago, woman are beneath the man in every aspect of social life, to name a few, wage, dignity, education, women are always ill-treated. but as the civilization illuminates the world, women are becoming a equal important force in the society as men. they have the same wage as man does, being respected as man, and receive certain educations. problems will finally be settled.
