However, it not necessary for one to choose between them because both of them can behave good when it comes to certain conditions. with the development of technology and science, the modernized way is quite different from the traditional ones from way of life and way of thinking. People usually
travel around with automobile, trains and airplanes other
than the by horse thanks to the modernized transportation, people watch TV,
surf on the internet for entertainment instead of watch play and gather around more frequently. The modernization and tradition not only different in the daily life, but also in thinking style. Modernized mind cares less about the bad results but how to make things better, they are encouraged to try their best and not frustrated when facing a unsatisfactory result; traditional one focus about the price and the gain as in the past the resources were more limited. Different as they are, tradition and modernization don't contract to each other all the time. one professor in my university once said " the best way is to combine tradition and modernization, they just lay compromise on different prospects. " At first glance, it's just a casual sentence but when thinking about it deeply, it reflects many things in the society. In some certain aspects relating to the latest technology such as the science research, choosing the modernized way might be a better grantee for the success; however, when it comes to the fields concerning the nature of human, the traditional way might be a better choice to make people feel more comfortable. In other words, one can enjoy the assurance of modern medical system
brings about as well as the pleasure of living in a traditional house. What's more, they are both indispensable. Take the scientific research for example, I was always wondering why the traditional research method are taught and even the students are required to take experiment according to them, however one day when I herd the words of the professor, I finally realized that it's the traditional way that set the base for the
modern ones, that is to say, without knowledge of the traditional research method, the student
will find it hard to manage the modern research method. It is also true that tradition and modernization are both necessary in many field. For instance, the innovative new style of Art are usually derives from the traditional and classical ones. Another case in point is the Chinese traditional medical science, a good supplementary of modern medical science, have surprising effect on certain illnesses. . Modernization today may be tradition tomorrow. For example, the poem of china in song dynasty is lyrics of popular songs that time and end up an important part of Chinese traditional culture. Another interesting example is watching

as a way of entertainment, which was once a modernized in the 1960s but turns out to be a traditional one compared to Internet and so on. All in all, modernization and tradition are relatively different but they are similar in nature, it's not necessary for one to choose from them as
the definition will change with time and what's modernization today might be tradition tomorrow.
