Personally, I think whether or not to make sure that others know about our strengths and accomplishments depends on who is the other people(???). If the people like you or wish you better, he/she may help you. But at the same time, if the people have some enmity with you, we could not say he/she will help you as well. So, success or not relies on ourselves.
