Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Younger school children (age five to ten) should be required to study art and music in addition to math, science, history and language.

In contemporary modern society, comprehensive quality is becoming more and more important. As far as I concerned, a great comprehensive quality not only need us to know math, science, history and language but also art and music. So I agree that younger school children (age five to ten) should be required to study art and music in addition to math, science, history and language.
Firstly, having a comprehensive study about every different field will lay a solid foundation for the children’s further development in the future. According to a survey, younger school children (age five to ten) have a better comprehension and understanding about any new subject that they touch. And they can accept them very quickly and easy. So when their age is from five to ten is the best period for them to know some subjects they do not know to enrich their knowledge and broaden their sight. What is more, from earlier study, they will develop a universal interest, which is good for their comprehensive quality forming.
Secondly, younger school children have more time and energy for them to dabble at different fields besides those basic required lessons. Since they have no much pressure about some examinations, they can allocate their spare time freely to study some subjects, such as art and music. The children will really enjoy the beauty of art and music from these subjects. The beautiful melody of MOZART and the persistence behind the Mozart’s story both encourage to love life and being strong when facing difficulty in the future.
In conclusion, the combination between art, music and math, science, history, language is a perfect way to help our children to form a comprehensive quality when they are young. Young children, who are in the age of five to ten, have the innate potential to study arts and once they step into the world of art, their childhood will become more colorful.
