09.05.30NA  Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Younger school children (ages five to ten) should be required to study art and music in addition to math, science, history and language.

It's common thought younger school children should be exposed to a relaxed environment. We should not add art and music to them in addition to math, science, history and language. However, scientists claimed this stage (aged 5 to 10) is crucial for artist ability. Younger school children which don’t learn art and music will waste the talent for are and music. Therefore, I can’t stand with this common thought. The following writing will clarify some of my points of view.
Learning art and music will find this aspect of talent of younger school children. It is because the children are sensitive to the two courses. They can recognize if art and music are the things they are good at and what they enjoy. A recent survey, suggests that 89% of Chinese super star are learning art and music from the ages 5 to 8. in consequence, the talent of art and music is easily discovered among young school children. Subsequently, this talent may develop into a career or life-long hobby. I n contrast, if the young children who don’t study art and music have less opportunities to be super star than young children do.
Although the first reason I mentioned above is probably the most important reason, it is not the only explanation for why younger school children should be required to study art and music. Art and music can contribute to expand young children’ horizon, while study burden is relatively light for them in this stage. The aged kids approximately utilize two to three hours to learn primary class like math, language. Learning about music and art theory will give them the background knowledge needed to appreciate the fine arts. Scientist studies have found 76.7% young children who have learnt arts and music know about opera and even can sing it. Consequently, learning art and music is an effective method to open children’s horizon.
From what has been discussed above, it would be reasonable to believe that it’s necessary for younger school children (aged 5 to 10) learn art and music

09.06.12NA   Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students should not take part-time jobs while they are studying in universities.
It’s common thought that students should concentrate on their studies. However, they fail to 'realize that a host of knowledge, like the consciousness of importance of study, valuable practical experience, can not learn from the books in the universities. Therefore, I have a negative view to this common thought. The following writing will clarify some of my points of view.
A part-time job related to their majors give students an exciting chance to apply the theories they have learned in school into practice. Chemistry is a notoriously abstract, boring, difficult subject. When a student takes a part-time job in a medical research lab, however, he/she might discover how important studying chemistry is for saving people’s lives. This student might then return to his/her chemistry studies with renewed vigor. What was an abstract academic pursuit becomes a concrete and interesting goal with a real relationship to the student’s life.
Part-time jobs also help students strengthen their resumes, build import contracts with companies, and familiarize them with the contemporary state of their respective fields. No matter hoe hard they try, computer science textbook publishers can not keep up with the rapid the development of new computer hardware, software, and programming languages. C.S. students who wish to maintain a competitive edge in a job market should find part-time positions where they can learn state-of-the-art techniques. After they graduate from college, they might then return to their part-time employers to look for a full-time position, or approach other employers with good references and cutting-edge work experience.
In conclusion, it’s necessary for students to hold a part-job, which can cultivate students to combine related theories into practice, realize the significance of learning. Also students who took on a part-time position can acquire practical experience, relationship with former employers, the current state of their fields.

这篇作文参考过作文选,但早已经烂记于心,感觉原因段的举例不是很好,希望大家狂批!
2009.8.7 NA  是否同意 parents help determined the future of their children or children allow to make their own choices.
It is common thought that parents can not make decisions on behalf of his children all the time. However, parents should participate in the decision-making process of their offspring. They can take advantage of their knowledge and experience to prevent their kids from making costly mistakes, encourage children to make them fill with confidence, and educate their offspring to learn from mistakes from decisions to make mature decision in the future.
Teenage children often lack experience and knowledge to make sound decisions, and here parents’ suggestion is necessary and valuable. Finding the right job or finding the right university after graduating senior school is good example for this. A teenager has not worked before and never attended an university, and thus his knowledge in both areas is limited extremely. Here parents should advice their children and ensure that he/she makes the right direction.
In order to be able to make sound decision in the future a young adult must gain confidence, and parents can help by engaging him/her in dialogue and providing him/her with necessary information. A child could be able to recognize the best arguments and reasons. Through the parents’ guidance, he/she will arrive at the correct decision and feel as though it was completely his/her own. Not only will he/she continue to seek the reliable advice of his/her parents, but the self-confidence gained from this experience will make it easier for him/her to make decisions in the future.
While parents should guide or direct their child, sometimes it is helpful to allow him/her to make a mistake. This will teach the child to live with the consequences of a wrong decision and also to ponder future choices more carefully. For example, a child might ignore his/her parents’ advice and pick a summer job that sounds very interesting initially, but which he/she comes to loathe almost immediately. This experience will be invaluable when the child grows up and has to find a real job!

09.03.29 do you agree or disagree, students will not use printed books anymore.
It is common knowledge that students take advantage of printed books all the time for the reason that printed books are the traditional source of information and knowledge. However, they fail to realize that books have the certain number of limitation which can cause many social problems. Therefore, I have a positive view to treat that students will not use printed books any more. The media of computer is necessarily a type of resource of information and knowledge. Perhaps due to the environmental situation, the efficiency of work, the amount of information, hardly can we admit that printed books should be used all the time.
Using an amount of printed books would almost certainly have adverse effects on the local environment, particularly in regards to polluting the water, atmospheric pollution. It is because an accumulating number of paper mills are cutting down trees to manufacture and produce books. Through this process, a surging number of municipal sewage and waste gas would be released. A recent survey, suggests that 92% of Chinese paper factories negatively contribute to the extremely bad environmental situation. In consequence, by abusing a deal of printed paper, the condition of environment will go worse to worse rapidly.
Moreover, the printed books are relatively less efficient than computers. Since we have the opportunity to look out academic information in the books, we need a number of books to refer to and an amount of time to check relative information. Computer, on the other hand, have quicken the pace of life by allowing us to communicate and search out information more efficiently. Scientific studies have found searching out knowledge you need by finding in the books is 11 times slower than finding out the same knowledge. Consequently, in this rapid development of society, information from printed books can’t keep up with the pace of life.
Finally, computers also offer students a wealth of information, perhaps more than books can provide. It is now possible to download e-books, dictionaries and encyclopedias for a computer. Even though there is a famous Chinese saying that people never possibly learn all of knowledge from books, according to an investigation, the Internet have included almost all of the information and knowledge in the world. People have the bigger possibility to access to the Internet.
In conclusion, given the environmental situation, the efficiency of looking out information, the amount of knowledge, students should avoid using printed books instead of computers
