       Some people think that the skepticism in study is so important that students should question whatever they are taught.In my opinion, skepticism is very important and indispensable in study, however, the view before seems too extreme to some extant.Although study can not live up with Skepticism, Excessive Skepticism in study is harmful to students.
       Skepticism is of course indispensable in the process of study.There is a saying in China that blind in books makes fools.It means that people might as well read no books if they believe everything in books without any Skepticisms.Firstly,not every knowledge is definally right in the book.Nicolaus Copernicus’s skepticism to the geocentric system of astronomy gave him the inspire to publish the great book names The Revolutions of the Heavenly Bodies .More important is that people can learn things deeperly when question the knowledge in the books.when a person bring a skepticism to what he study,he must comprehand deeply what he study first. In the way he find the answer he questioned before he can obtain a deeper understand to the knowledge and learn more things.A friend of mine found there is something wrong on a algorithm in computer science one year before,so he read many books about analyzing the algorithm and accumulate many things about the algorithm.At the last,he found that his skepticism is wrong but his understand about the algorithm is so deep that he write a paper about it
But this bring up with another question:Can the lesson be comprehand deeply only when it is suspected?
         I do not agree with the assume before. Only when some knowledge is comprehanded first then can people put their skepticism on it.Take Kepler as an example:He first accept the theory of Copernicus and on the basis of it,he find something wrong in it and found three Kepler laws to make Copernicus’s geocentric system of astronomy more reasonable.The skepticism itself isn’t purpose,we put our skepticism to what we study aiming to learn the knowledge and find the truth.When someone question what they are tought instead of accepting if passively,I think he put his concern on bringing skepticisms instead of learning the knowledge and finding the truth because although accepting knowledge passively is wrong, its opposite is not skepticism to everything:We can accepting knowledge actively and then find its shortage.
          On the other hand,Not every knowledge we study has the possible to be suspected.When we are yong,we learned how to write,it needn’t be suspected.In the university,we learn the Terms in our major it needn’t be suspected too. similar examples are so many. Sometime what we study is only a custom like we us meter to masure the longth and it is obvious that suspecting it has no value.
          In sum, a certain skepticism during our study is necessary but we should understand the purpose of skepticism: learning the knowledge and finding the truth.
