This topic can be summarized as one (author)saying(say): which would be better to make choices for children, the parents or themselves? Some people claim that parents with rich experience would make right decision for their children. However, in my opinion, choices from children selves would be more useful(benefit) for children than those from parents.+ ~, q6 ^) }0 P/ f6 K6 @+ E! u. b- l: \7 OAdmittedly, there(it) is no denying that under some circumstances their parents know much about the society(没说清楚意思), so they can provide strange(excellent) suggestions for their children, this making them avoid sorts of unnecessary mistakes. On the other hand, making choices for their children can be regard as an essential responsibility, and even a way to protect their children. From these angles,(不是很理解意思) everyone can understand why parents always would like to make decisions for their children; children also should follow parts of realistic and useful advises from their parents.: W, h; t% W8 p+ O5 b1 `8 t1 w5 K5 O2 {" |' r: s% `Aside from the foregoing proviso, however, is it true that choices from parents would bring much more advantages than from children selves? For me, the answer is negative. Common sense informs us that nobody would know oneself better than the person himself or herself. This is to say, children themselves would make the decision base on their own feelings, thoughts and interests. Considering the key position of interests in people’s lives, we will realize the importance and benefit of making choices by oneself. Just like choosing the major, though parent would make a series of decisions for their child, the child should choose the major-the way of life, for himself based on his own interests. In general, parents’ suggestions may be useful, but children should make their choices according to their own thoughts and interests.* [3 {8 ?' {' Y& MLastly, choices just from parents without considering the thought of children selves would be counterproductive for people’s growth. In other words, making decisions by oneself, to some extent, is also an opportunity and must experience on the way of people’s growth. There is an example in daily life. Some students have little common knowledge, even he or she has entered the university, because of any decisions made by their parents during their life. Generally, just like a necessary lesson, making decisions by oneself would be of benefit for people’s progress.! d' ^3 q- C) m" H+ w' [: j3 Z2 w7 j; @) |) L7 |0 q3 \! ZSummarily, I agree with the statement that children should follow parts of advises from their parents. However, the advantages of choices from children selves would outweigh that from parents. |
