Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Some people think making sure that others (influential people or potential employers) know about your strengths and accomplishments can help you succeed, if you do not do this, you won’t have a successful life.



A multitude of people live under the illusion that we should be the willing horses in the office without showing our accomplishments, however, from my perspective, nothing can be compared with displacing talent to your superiors and co-works. Only in this way can we have a successful life.

Our chinese have a old saying: It is always said that swift horse are usually found but not the same as‘Pak Lok"-the person who has good judgments to spot the Long Distance Running Horses. This sentence can be defined as pearls are everywhere but not the same as the eyes. To ilustrate this abstract principle, we just need to look at Li Po, one of the greatest poets in Tang Dynasty. Undoubtedly regarded as a giant figure in poem though, he seldom revealed political talent because of his lofty. And hence he left the bureaucracy with a pale political life. On the contrast, another famous poet named Xin Qiji, who had a success in politics like a duck in water due to his positive showing off to the emperor. According to the former's failure and the later's blossom, we may have an experience that the importance of making leaders konw your strengths is crucial.

The leader is only part of the picture. In order to have a brilliant life, heathy co-workers relations are also key points. More often than not, in most fields, a team can achive much more extensive scope than an individual can. Therefore, having a rational and accurate comprehending to the ability of our colleagues is essential.Take basketball as an example. To get a goal or make a point, team members must judge which one they should pass the ball to. And this depends on the gift and advantages a person has shown to his or her teammates. As a result, if you can do without the dubious merits of hiding one's strength, you will swiftly support the contrary view.


Necessity of exposing your accomplishments have been self-evident.And it has always been mystery to me, who insist all above statements, obstinately pretend that they would prefer to obscure their talent.
