If you were an employer, which kind of worker would you prefer to hire: an inexperienced worker at a lower salary or an experienced worker at a higher salary? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Which kind of employee would you prefer: the one with rich-experienced, but higher salary, or the one less-experience, but lower salary? Some people claim, since lower would cut the cost of company, so they would like to choose the latter. However, in my opinion, considering the final pursuit of company, promoting benefit, I prefer the former.

Admittedly, there is no denying that hiring workers with lower salary would be an effective way for company to less the cost. There is a concrete example. A series of international company, to name a few, Nike, Adidas, Reebok and so forth, would like to place their industries in developing countries. In some degrees, this phenomenon must result from the low spending of employing. However, even hiring low-salary workers can to some extent reduce the expense, compared with rich-experience employees, the reducing means nothing.

Aside from the forgoing proviso, as a chairman of company, he must realize that the final pursuit should be making money, not lessening cost. In other words, the expense of hiring workers can be regard as long-term investment. In addition, a survey from one of the biggest portal company, ifeng.com, indicates that almost 75% companies agree with that this kind of investment is worthy and can be of benefit for the development of company. This is to say, in the consideration of sorts of factors, employers believe the experienced workers would exert positive effect on their companies.

Moreover, there will be a series of practical reasons for employers to make the decision that is, hiring experienced workers: Firstly, rich experience, in some cases, means fewer mistakes which always bring companies big losses. Secondly, workers with experience would be helpful to improve other workers working together. Lastly, experienced people would bring different cultures and ideas from other companies which they used to work in. Generally, considering all of these advantages, mentioned above, employers should hire experienced workers without hesitation.

To sum up, I insofar as agree with that many companies would like reduce the cost. However, the cost-reducing should not be from the hiring experienced employees. In short, the investment of hiring experienced workers should be must.
