columbia offers a stat master program on the social science track...
Princeton department of sociology has a professor doing Bayesian application in sociology
USC has a great program in quantitative method but it's in department of psychology...
not sure about the others....
i am interested in this as well.... but i havent decided it yet... it's pretty tough to get in if you dont have background in social science like me...
现在的统计系很少有人研究social science,如果你想作者方面的研究还是关注Department of Sociology or Department of Statistics. 数学背景对于这方面研究会有好处,建议学一些统计和社科方面的知识,也可以先与这些方向的教授联系看看有没人对你的背景感兴趣。
no need to take psychology sub...i am not planning to take it...basically the programs i want to apply dont even strongly recommend to take sub...so...
i m not taking math sub either simply because i m too damn busy...
其实我觉得最中意的就是quantitative methods in social science... 但是有这种项目的太少了...

well, my main target is still program in stat...
i m gonna try a couple of pyschogoly program but pretty sure i dont have a good shot...
i m thinking about trying a social science summer intern next year... hoping to get to know more about what is really going on ...i dont know if i could get in though
anyway, if i m really into the social science track, i guess i could do my doctoral dissertation on it, if i could get in anywhere next year... hehe...
stat=> methodology in social science might be easy, but not the other way around...
